Why do I think of this historical fact? Zhao Yuanren (1892-1982), also known as Xuanzhong, also known as Yizhong, was born in Tianjin and his ancestral home was Changzhou, Jiangsu. In 1909, Zhao Yuanren studied in the United States. At first, he did not dream of studying linguistics, at Cornell University in the United States, he majored in mathematics, took physics, music, and easily obtained a bachelor of science degree. After that, he entered Harvard University to major in philosophy and received a doctorate in philosophy. In 1919, Zhao Yuanren returned to Cornell University to teach physics. When he studied at Harvard University, he won a prize that was not only the envy of the Chinese, but also the Americans. He was affectionately praised by the American academic community as: Zhao is not wrong!
