Spring has passed, although it is still a little cold these days, but the sun shines the earth full of life, and my heart is also full of love sunshine.

I teach at The Central Primary School of Jiehu Subdistrict in Yinan County. As a homeroom teacher in a rural primary school, I will conduct home visits every winter and summer vacation, which has become my responsibility and obligation. Home visits have brought me closer to every parent and every child. "Don't let every child lose at the starting line", this is my biggest wish in rural teaching for more than 20 years.

This fall, because of work needs, I took over a new sixth-grade class. When I first took over, the overall discipline of the class was sloppy, the enthusiasm for learning was not high, and some students even had a sense of boredom, including Xiao Xu. I designated Xiao Xu as my bao bao tutor, a child who performed well in other aspects of school but had a particularly poor ability to self-discipline in learning. The class deserts, the homework is almost not completed, coupled with his family life situation is average, the learning environment is poor, and the parents have no heart to educate the child, so the management of the child is more extensive.

During the holidays a few years ago, I made a special home visit, worked out a detailed holiday learning plan with my children, communicated with parents, and taught parents some basic methods of educating their children, such as communicating with children, talking, caring more about children from learning and life, understanding children's needs, and keeping up with supervision. At the same time, parents often send me the learning content during the winter vacation of their children in the form of videos or pictures, so as to supervise and guide their children in a timely manner.

More than 20 days after the holiday, in order to learn more about the students' holiday life, I conducted a post-year home visit on February 6. The day before yesterday, I made an appointment with Xiao Xu's parents in advance, and in the afternoon, greeting the spring sunshine and bringing school bags and other school supplies for Xiao Xu, I came to Xiao Xu's home as promised.

Xiao Xu's parents have repeatedly said that their children have changed a lot in the past six months, and I have also observed that Xiao Xu's state of practicing words is very good. I had an in-depth exchange with parents on their children's education again, and learned that parents used the methods taught by teachers to communicate with their children during the holidays, caring for their children and listening to their children's voices from all aspects. Xiao Xu's performance is also much better than the original, changing a lot, no longer working against the parents, can listen to the parents' words, learning is more active and conscious than before, and will also help the parents to do some housework. The parents were satisfied and kept saying words of thanks.

From epidemic prevention and control, to traffic safety, to family safety, I have repeatedly told my children to pay attention to holiday safety. At the same time, he asked him to take out his vacation homework and made a simple comment, proposing what he should pay attention to. In the end, I worked with him to develop a study plan for the rest of the holidays, and also asked parents to supervise and supervise their children as always.

On the way back, I felt from the bottom of my heart that listening to the voices of parents and students would find the right direction for my next step.
