His mother was forced to die, and he had no choice but to accept the arranged marriage, but three years later he said: Mom, I thank you

Today's marriages are almost all based on free love. Both men and women should talk about love for a period of time before getting married, see if each other's interests and personalities are compatible, and then decide whether to get married. However, in the feudal society and the early days of the Republic of China, many marriages were arranged, following the orders of parents and the words of matchmakers. Some men and women have not even met once before marriage, let alone know each other. Therefore, arranged marriages by parents often bring many problems, and there are not many happy ones. But Mr. Wen Yiduo's marriage is an exception.

At that time, Gao Xiaozhen's father was a guest at the Wen family, thinking that this child had a career, so he offered to ration his daughter Gao Xiaozhen to Wen Yiduo, and the two families kissed each other.

His parents were afraid that Wen Yiduo would also study abroad at this time, so they kept writing letters urging him to go home and complete his marriage. Wen Yiduo has received a new education for many years, is very eager for free love, and is very resistant to the marriage arranged by his parents, so he shirks it for various reasons. Wen Yiduo's attitude makes the parents very embarrassed, the two families have been engaged for nearly ten years, if they repent at this time, not only are they ashamed of the Gao family, but they will also be criticized by the villagers, and their faces are dull. Soon after Wen Yiduo went to the United States, Gao Xiaozhen entered the Wuchang Girls' Vocational School.
