Recently, Zhao Qingjing, a professor at Xiamen University, also proposed that the pension should be linked to the number of children born. This has indeed raised concerns among some parents of only children. Now a large number of parents of only children enter the retirement age every year, and most only child families have purchased social insurance for themselves and can receive pensions because of their smaller parenting burden. Some people have heard that parents of only children can receive 5% more pensions in retirement, is this true?
Can parents retire with more pensions?
The additional pension for retirees who are parents of only children is in fact a provision before the implementation of the old-age insurance system. For example, the retirement pension treatment of government agencies and institutions was linked to my working age before the implementation of the pension insurance system. 70% of the basic salary is paid after 10 years of service and less than 20 years; 80% is paid after 20 years and less than 30 years; 80% is paid after 30 years and less than 35 years, and 90% is paid after 35 years.

The incentive fee that parents of only one-child children in Beijing can get when they retire is only 1,000 yuan, which is a one-time one-time fee. Shanghai And Hunan are both 5,000 yuan. The relatively high wage in Shandong province is the average social wage of 30% of districted cities, and Qingdao city will reach 24,500 yuan in 2021. The one-time retirement bonus for the only child refers to the treatment paid by the employer.
For some flexible employment personnel or farmers, the national health department will issue corresponding pension subsidies. My mother now receives a one-time allowance of $80 per month for her only child, usually once every six months. The standard of 80 yuan per month is the same in many places, but local governments can also raise the standard, such as Guangzhou City, which implements 150 yuan.
Is there any place to issue additional pensions now? After the reform of the old-age insurance system for employees of government organs and public institutions, the standards for additional issuance have been changed to one-time issuance. However, there are still a few areas where the pension of parents of only children is increased in accordance with the relevant proportions.
The one-child incentive policy in Hainan Province is that the parents of only children will be granted an additional pension treatment of 5% of the basic pension at the time of retirement.
Sichuan Province pays an additional 0.1% of my indexed contribution salary every year according to my payment period. If the length of service can reach 50 years, it can indeed increase by 5%, but such people almost do not exist. Chongqing municipality is 3% of the increase in basic pension.
In yunnan province's local population and family planning regulations, the family planning incentive is paid according to 5% of the average pension of enterprise retirees in the province in the previous year.
In general, the basic pension incentives for the parents of only children after retirement are now generally non-existent, even if they still exist in Sichuan, Chongqing, Hainan, Yunnan and other regions, with the national overall planning of the pension insurance system, it may be converted to subsidies from local health and family departments, just like the standard of 80 yuan per person per month in many areas. Relatively speaking, everyone is assured that the Population and Family Planning Law clearly stipulates the rewards for parents of only children, and the corresponding guarantees are based on laws, and I believe that the future will be better and better.
