How poor the old peasants are, you can't imagine

01

When I returned to my hometown to visit relatives, I learned that my neighbor, Aunt Liu, had suffered a stroke and was admitted to the county hospital. After surgery, transfer to an intensive care unit. The daily cost is as high as tens of thousands of yuan, which overwhelms the family.

Aunt Liu has not paid medical insurance for urban and rural residents, so she cannot be reimbursed, and her medical expenses can only be fully borne by herself.

My wife Uncle Liu went to the village branch secretary to be accommodating, and the village branch secretary said in embarrassment: "Now medical insurance is all computer networking, I can't cheat for you, cheating is cheating insurance." ”

The predecessor of urban and rural residents' medical insurance is the New Rural Cooperative, and Shandong Province introduced a policy in 2006 to pay 10 yuan a year, but most of the old farmers do not recognize it, feeling that this money is a waste and cannot be used by themselves.

As they grow older, some elderly people have a serious illness and small pain that cannot be resisted, and need to take medicine and infusion, hospitalization, and only then realize the benefits of the new agricultural cooperation.

Aunt Liu Uncle Liu gave birth to two sons, both of whom worked in the city after graduating from junior high school, and Uncle Liu worked as a cleaner in the village in addition to farming.

Throughout the year, in addition to the income from ten acres of ration land, there is also a salary of 800 yuan per month.

Even so, Uncle Liu and Aunt Liu were still financially stretched.

From engagement to marriage, building a house, bride price, wedding banquet and wedding car, the two sons are all huge expenses.

In 2010, the rural elderly pension policy was introduced, and the elderly who reached the age of 60 began to receive monthly pensions, and those who were not yet 60 years old paid annual pension insurance. Minimum payment at that time: 100 yuan.

Many old farmers are unwilling to pay, they just want to receive money, they don't want to pay it.

A year later, when the same age received a monthly pension, those who did not pay pension insurance could not receive it, and then they panicked.

When one of my father's children was 59 years old, he refused to pay pension insurance, and when he was 60 years old, he could not receive a pension. He went to the village branch secretary, but the village branch secretary could not do anything.

He rode his bicycle to the town government, and the national policy allowed it to be repaid, but the staff inevitably shirked.

It took him a while to go through the supplementary formalities and start receiving his pension the following month.

This uncle is a rare rich family on the street, and he has owned a restaurant for three generations. Gradually, the hotel business went downhill.

After his son got married and started a family, he ran freight transportation, he helped his son buy a truck to do business, helped his son buy a house in the city, and almost exhausted the family's wealth.

The son's family of four has a good life in the city, and he and his wife are difficult to say in the country.

At first, I didn't know much about rural policy.

After my dad had a cataract surgery in his eye, I learned about the new farm.

My dad is an iron rooster, not a penny.

I secretly handed over the new agricultural cooperative to my parents, which had risen from 10 yuan a year to 100 yuan a year.

At that time, my parents were still young, and the new agricultural cooperative was guaranteed for one year a year, to be honest, I really didn't need it.

When my parents were young and strong, they rarely went to the hospital, had a cold and fever, and either resisted it or took pills. There are very few injections and infusions in the hospital, let alone hospitalization.

In the seventies and eighties, my mother gave birth to three children, all of whom were delivered in her own home.

What disease in the world is more dangerous than childbirth!?

After the age of 60, the pain began to find parents. My dad had cataract surgery in both eyes and a broken leg.

My mother suffered from high blood pressure and heart disease, and she went to the hospital for treatment for a while, and she has never left her medicine.

In 2014, the urban residents' medical insurance and the new rural cooperative were merged into the urban and rural residents' medical insurance.

Now it has risen to 350 yuan, which is indeed a headache for the old farmers who are gouging in the soil.

Some families of five or six have to pay two or three thousand yuan a year for medical insurance alone.

Urban and rural residents' medical insurance cannot be accumulated, pay one year of insurance for one year, not to mention not necessarily use, especially young people who are migrant workers, usually lost.

The old peasants had no money on hand, so they planted two crops a year on one mu of ration land, cut off seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, watered, plowed, and harvested, with a net income of only 1,000 yuan.

Young people have high incomes from part-time work, but raising children, raising houses and cars is also stressful.

Like my hometown, there is little ration land, and one person has one acre of land.

If you don't do some small business and don't go out to work, you really can't live your life.

My dad served in the Air Force for five years when he was young, and since the state introduced preferential subsidies for veterans and exemption from paying resident medical insurance, my father was relieved to pay resident medical insurance every year.

Every year, my parents only need to pay my mother's health insurance.

Accepting parents is easy for ordinary people, and accepting parents as poor requires a long process.

We always think that our parents are superhuman, but in fact our parents are poor.

My father and mother had three children, but they can only take care of one.

When I was a student, I read well, got good grades, and put family resources first for me.

After graduating from university, my younger brother and I both worked in the city, and my eldest brother was an only child for seven or eight years, and his parents helped him with business, marrying daughters-in-law, and raising children.

Until the younger brother returned to his hometown to get married and start a family.

No matter how many houses and the yard are bigger, it is also a chicken flying dog to accommodate three families.

Parents pressed the gourd to float the scoop, two sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, how can not make a bowl of water flat.

It wasn't until the younger brother's two daughters went to school in the county seat, and it wasn't until the younger brother bought a house and moved away that the parents' days relaxed.

When I was young, my father and my mother had three children and could not afford to raise three children.

In my later years, my father and mother could not even provide milk for my two granddaughters.

A carton of milk 12 or 16 boxes, two granddaughters one drink a box, when they leave, one person takes another box, a carton of milk in three or four days to drink out.

Don't say that my mother can't drink a carton of milk in her mouth, my dad can't even smell milk.

We have to admit that our parents are poor and that the old peasants are poor.

The pension and medical care of old farmers is always an unsolvable problem.
