Proposal on the Implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of Family Education

Bring love home

Dear Parents and Friends,

The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of Family Education (hereinafter referred to as the Law on the Promotion of Family Education) was adopted by the 31st Session of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on October 23, 2021 and came into force on January 1, 2022. In order to better study, publicize and implement the "Family Education Promotion Law", carry forward the fine tradition of the Chinese nation attaching importance to family education, guide the whole society to pay attention to family, tutoring, and family style, enhance family happiness and social harmony, and cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intellectuality, physical fitness, beauty, and labor, on the occasion of the International Day of Families on May 15, the Women's Federation of Queshan County and the Education Bureau of Cuishan County issued the following initiatives to the parents and friends in the county:

I. Conscientiously study the "Family Education Promotion Law" and clarify the main responsibilities of parents

The family is the child's first school, parents or other guardians should establish a sense of responsibility that the family is the first classroom and parents are the first teachers, assume the main responsibility for the implementation of family education for minors, and use correct thoughts, methods and behaviors to educate minors to develop good thoughts, conduct, and habits. It is hoped that the majority of parents will conscientiously study the "Family Education Promotion Law" and strive to achieve the "seven consciousnesses": consciously undertake the main responsibility for implementing family education; consciously implement the fundamental task of family education; consciously attach importance to family building and create a good family environment for children's growth; consciously grasp and practice the correct methods of family education; consciously improve the ability of family education; consciously cooperate with schools and society to jointly promote children's growth; and consciously respect and protect children's rights.

Second, adhere to the fundamental task of Lide tree people, inherit and carry forward the good family style of good tutoring

The majority of parents should conscientiously study the "Law on the Promotion of Family Education," establish a correct concept of family education, consciously study family education knowledge, master scientific family education methods, and improve family education capabilities; consciously implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with virtue in family education; consciously cultivate and practice the core socialist values; and consciously carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. Attach importance to "teaching by example" and "mutual promotion", see the wise and think together, upward and good; lead by example, be careful in words and deeds; be strict and kind to each other, communicate on an equal footing; teach with the camera, and promote each other. Jointly build civilized and harmonious family relations, and create a good family environment for the healthy growth of minors.

III. Family school social coordination educates people to promote the comprehensive and healthy growth of minors

The Education Bureau of Queshan County and the Women's Federation of Qishan County coordinate social resources, coordinate to promote the construction of a family education guidance service system covering urban and rural areas, and undertake the daily affairs of family education work in accordance with the division of duties. Minors' parents or other guardians should realize the importance of cooperative education between home and school, actively participate in cooperative education in the family and school society, respect teachers, rationally express demands, and actively communicate and cooperate; in view of the characteristics of the physical and mental development of minors of different ages, follow the laws governing the growth of minors, establish a correct concept of family education, pay attention to their physical, psychological, and intellectual development, and respect their right to participate in relevant family affairs and express opinions. Minors must not be discriminated against on the basis of gender, physical condition, intelligence, and so forth, domestic violence must not be committed, and minors must not be coerced, lured, instigated, connived, or used to engage in activities that violate laws, regulations, and social morality.

Children are the hope of the family and the future of the country. Let us go hand in hand to help children grow up healthily and develop in an all-round way with fist and fist love, and contribute to the creation of child-friendly cities and the construction of "four mountains"!

Family Education "Ten Ways to Open Correctly"

Parents and friends can use the following "ten correct ways to open" to enjoy a good time with their children:

1. Share a good book with your child

Through parent-child reading, it is not only conducive to creating a good atmosphere of books, but also helping to cultivate children's good habits.

In the process of instilling the awareness of housework, children are slowly cultivated in other life skills, and ultimately achieve the effect of enhancing their self-confidence and sense of family belonging.

6. Make a house rule with your child

By working with the child to formulate house rules, the house rules are no longer the requirements of the parents, but the demands of the children. With family rules, family relations become more democratic and children become more conscious.

7. Take the children to visit the elders more often

By taking children to visit their elders more, they can not only cultivate the traditional virtues of filial piety to their elders, but also help to form a harmonious and happy family.

8. Do a year-round plan with your child

Combined with the actual situation, by working with the child to formulate an annual plan including behaviors and habits, it will promote the awakening of the child's awareness of planning in advance and the improvement of self-responsibility.

9. Take your child to participate in a public welfare action

To teach children to be helpful and caring for others, parents themselves must lead by example and participate in volunteering together. Parents have respect and gratitude for the elderly, heroes, martyrs, nature, the environment, etc., and children will love others, love society and love the country even more.

10. The whole family will hold a family meeting together

Family meetings are the main front for all family members, including their grandparents, to express their views and speak freely. Through regular family meetings, it not only effectively solves the existing problems in the family, creates a sense of ritual in family life, but also allows children to feel the warmth of the family and the support and encouragement of the family in all aspects.

"Five families" construction

1. There is a small family study or reading corner

If family conditions permit, set up a reading corner or a special study room at home for family members to read freely, so that reading becomes a habit.

2. Good family rules and good family training that family members abide by together

Family members under the guidance of their ancestors formulated family rules and posted them in a prominent position in the home, highlighting the unique spirit of the family with concise and clear words, so that the good family style can be passed on from generation to generation.

3. There is a family cool corner

Set up a cool corner in the home, which places things that parents or children feel comfortable and can relax, such as soft cushions, pillows, books, etc., when family members have negative emotions and need to be calm, they can enter the calm corner and let the bad emotions calm down.

4. Small balcony with greenery

Using the balcony space to plant green plants, flowers, etc., in the process of engaging in gardening activities, you can adjust your body and mind and enjoy a quiet and leisurely happy life.

5. There is a heart-warming message board

Set up a special message board at home, and write what you want to say but dare not say on the message board, so that family members can understand each other's ideas, narrow the distance between parents and children, and let family happiness overflow everywhere.
