Since I got married and started my family, I have moved a total of 11 times – 4 times in my hometown and 7 times after coming to talk. At this point, this variety of moving events have reappeared in my mind like a documentary.
My wedding room is the East Wing of my hometown in the 1960s, which is an old birthday star over 100 years old. Although it is an adobe house, after several repairs, it still faithfully performs the task of shielding its owner from the wind and rain. This is not, after careful sorting, and then made a new house. Such a historic building to make a new house for my generation now seems a little blasphemous, in fact, at that time there was no other choice, only so. The two rooms are only 7 meters long, only 3 meters wide and high, standing on the earthen kang, you can touch the roof with your hands. In addition to the earth kang, there is only a square table, two chairs and a washbasin shelf. With the birth of his children, he moved twice. It wasn't until the beginning of reform and opening up that I tried my best to make my family wealth, and then I cobbled together debts from relatives and friends to build a house that belonged entirely to me. This courtyard has 4 main rooms (divided into two rooms), a kitchen, a concierge, a toilet, I also drilled a pressurized well in the courtyard, using the remaining wood from the building to ask the carpenter to make two large cabinets and tables and stools and some furniture. At this time, I took a long breath - not only was the new house and courtyard convenient to live in, but also the pride in my heart that I had finally caught up with the development of the times. Unexpectedly, after building a new hospital in the spring, I was assigned by the Regional Education Bureau to the Second School for the Children of Workers in Liaocheng District through open recruitment, and served as a high school teacher. My hometown is nearly a hundred miles away from Liaocheng, and I must have a home to work here.
When I first came to the school, I temporarily lived in a small office next to a large conference room, and later moved to a double-lived staff dormitory. Later, because the children followed me to study, the school took care of me and gave me a dormitory, and the furniture was also provided by the school. After the two children took the college entrance examination at the same time, I took my wife, and I moved my whole family to Liaocheng, and although this move was simple, it was of great significance - marking my family's farewell to the countryside and coming to the city, when it was still living in a dormitory. It is really inconvenient for people to live in a house of 3, and the wife occasionally mutters: "The newly built wide house cannot be lived, and I have suffered this kind of foreign crime here." I smiled and said, "Anyway, I have to live here, I'm too narrow, or I'll send you back?" "Just look at each other and smile." With the development of the school, I moved from a dormitory to a half dormitory, because the school built a building, I moved again, which was the same type of relocation. Later, when I moved to a courtyard with two dormitories and a kitchen, I was particularly satisfied, and I lamented that I had spent the rest of my life here, and I felt satisfied. Later, I was transferred to the teaching and research office of the city (the predecessor of Dongchangfu District) and still lived here. The school wanted to expand and build a building, and the scaffolding was put on the steps of my entrance, and just when I was allocated a three-bedroom and two-hall house in the Education Bureau, I quickly prepared to move.
Moving upstairs, moreover, it is three bedrooms and two halls, and the original furniture is certainly not enough, not to mention that there are still some damaged and unusable. Due to the limitations of economic conditions, in line with the principle of combining the old and the new, we can save the province, purchased some new furniture, repaired and remodeled some old furniture, and hurriedly moved to the family courtyard of the Education Bureau. Seeing this upstairs and downstairs, electric lights and telephones, staying at home, everything, bright windows, clean and spacious new home, as if entering another living world. Living in buildings now seems very common, and even some people will be a little disgusted, but you know, that was 23 years ago, when the number of people living in buildings was after all a minority, and it was the luxury of quite a few people to live in buildings. I have said more than once, "I lived to be in my 50s and lived in a building, and I wish that was enough." ”
This is 23 years (more than 4 years in the middle of which we take care of our grandchildren to go to school in Weihai), and in recent years, due to getting older and poorer, we have felt more and more difficult to climb the stairs. We inadvertently sighed and talked to ourselves, were heard by the children, our actions were getting slower and slower, we were looked at by them, I don't know how they discussed, the eldest son came forward, bought a set of buildings for us in the No. 1 courtyard of Minsheng Phoenix. They just said: "The environment here is good, the building configuration is high (equipped with fresh air system and direct drinking water system and smart door locks, etc.), the service grade is high, you must be the most suitable for living, we are also assured." And repeatedly told us that how to decorate how to decorate, willing to buy what furniture to buy what furniture, the rest do not have to care, do not have to consider. My wife and I summed up that this may be the last time we will move in this life, and the economy is not only allowed to be simple and simple because of ugliness, but also to move home well. Because the house we bought was a renovated house, we did not make major changes, but only slightly changed according to our needs. Furniture, electrical appliances all bought new: living room, dining room furniture is a set of ash wood, beds, cabinets are a set of black walnut wood, electrical appliances are the same color Haier brand. Even the futon was replaced with something that was not new but had never been used. After moving the house and making arrangements, I looked at this brand new home, which I was most satisfied with in my life, and jokingly said to my wife: "You see, except for people who are old, the rest are all new." "This building is a wedding room for returnees, which should be quite good." When we live in such a building at this age, is it a waste of resources and a violent creature? Laugh at each other.
Looking back on the experience of moving, as a retired teacher with a lot of good feelings, how can I not feel a thousand emotions, how can I not do the words - although the mouth is clumsy? I don't blame them for the low starting point that my predecessors have arranged for me, which is due to many factors. Reform and opening up allowed me to build my first home with the first pot of gold in the co-production contract responsibility system. The spring breeze of restoring the college entrance examination and blowing open the door of the recruitment system, I took advantage of the mighty spring wind to rush out of the countryside and fly to Liaocheng, and the children also took advantage of the wind to rush out of the countryside. The torrent of rapid development of education urged me to leave the student classroom, go to the teaching and research forum, and buy a house to renovate the building. The rapid changes of society, the dedication of the children, and the joint efforts have built a happy old age for me. Although it only takes a moment to look back, the reality is seventy or eighty years, which is more than half a century, which is really unprecedented!
