Qingwei | return to his hometown

Qingwei | return to his hometown

This spring, I returned to my hometown after 46 years of absence, Yaoyatou Village in Yimeng Mountain.

The asphalt roads lined with green willows and the villas covered with peach blossoms make me wonder, is this the village where I used to go all over the mountains looking for wild vegetables to fill my hunger?

The spring breeze is like a loved one's hand, touching my face warmly. My mind can't help but go back to forty-six years ago...

Qingwei | return to his hometown

I remember that it was also a spring, the rain fell overnight, my family's already dilapidated house, everywhere rushed and leaked rain, the pots and jars at home became tools for receiving rain, but the house was still a "vast ocean". The quilt was wet, the clothes were wet, and the shoes were like boats floating on the floor. The four of us sisters curled up on the bed, helplessly shouting Daddy, but Daddy could only helplessly say, Don't be afraid of the child, the dawn will be good, the dawn will be good...

Qingwei | return to his hometown

Forty-six years have passed, and everything is as if it were yesterday, and the scene in front of us has turned yesterday into a black and white photograph. The Qingyuan River I am familiar with flutters like a sparkling silk in front of the village, willow branches dance, geese and ducks play, and the song of the girl comes from a distance, soaking the sweetness of my hometown into my heart.

The mist of flowers on the cliffs, the bright side of the Tanabe house, the small pavilion in the shadow of the boxwood, the spotless community party service center building and a white magnolia looking at each other in the wind, two red roc bird logos that spread their wings, like the fire phoenix that is reborn in the fire, the children who sit on the swing leisurely playing, the birds standing on the branches of the branches, all of this makes my village calmly with gentleness, and the beauty of the eyes is clear and intoxicating.

Qingwei | return to his hometown

Hometown, your charm conquered me, a kind of gratitude spontaneously emerged, that is gratitude to the motherland, gratitude to the party, but also gratitude for a new era!
