Why I like philately, stemmed from reading an essay, the author said that he liked philately, so I also began to learn the author of stamp collecting.
When I was in elementary school, I went to school in my village, the contact area was relatively narrow, and the stamps collected were not many, all sandwiched in a book. Junior high school was in town, lived in school, came home once a week, and parents began to give living expenses. I saw the post office for the first time after I was in junior high school and learned that stamps could be bought from the post office. So I started saving money, and the money I saved bought a philatelic album first, and the rest bought stamps.
I started junior high school in 1997, when our nine-year compulsory education implemented the "May Fourth" system, that is, five years of primary school and four years of junior high school. Junior high school residential school, steamed bread with food stamps, food stamps are used to use the family wheat to the school canteen to exchange. As for the dish, for most students, the first three days are generally to eat their own pickles, after three days, the pickles are eaten, or even if they are not eaten, they become bad, and they begin to buy vegetables in the school canteen, a dish, cheap 2 cents, expensive 5 cents. My parents usually give me 3 yuan a week as money for my next 3 days. I saved from these 3 yuan, in order to save money many times only eat steamed bread and do not eat vegetables, at most can save 2 yuan, save money, have bought stamps, stamp prices from 8 points to 2 yuan range. The most expensive one was 10 yuan, and it took me more than a month to save the 10 yuan.
Speaking of stamps, I think of a story, when I was in the first year of junior high school, one of my hairs was small, I had a fever for 10 consecutive days, and my mental state was not good. The injection and medicine have not gotten better, so his mother invited a "god mother-in-law", and the "god mother-in-law" made a lot of tinkering in his house, and then said, boil water in the pot, put a stamp, boil the stamp, and drink it all. Fa Xiao knew that I collected stamps, so I came to ask for stamps, I refused at first, saying how we are also a junior high school student, this feudal superstition you also believe! He kept begging me, so I reluctantly found the cheapest stamp for him. Who knew that after drinking the water that had boiled the stamps, he was actually better the next day [shocked]! Later, in a similar situation, he asked me for stamps several times, and laughed at himself, saying that the things that science could not solve could only be solved by superstition.
The stamps in the photo below are all used, and the new stamps are not taken. When I go back, I have to find out the philatelic album again to see if these stamps are still unharmed, which should also be the youth of many people.
