Among them, the cumulative sales volume of the sedan market was 8.889 million units, an increase of 8.0% year-on-year; the cumulative sales of the MPV market were 964,000 units, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year; and the sales volume of the SUV market was 8.874 million units, an increase of 6.9% year-on-year. According to the data, there are 57 models with cumulative sales of more than 100,000 vehicles from January to November this year. Among them, there are 12 models with cumulative sales of more than 200,000 units (including 4 models with sales of more than 300,000 vehicles).
Sedans are still the most popular models of consumers, the top three models in terms of sales are all cars, and Nissan Xuanyi won the 2021 car sales championship with sales of 453,400 units, with a clear sales lead. Hongguang MINI surpassed Volkswagen Langyi to rank second with sales of 370,700 vehicles. Volkswagen Langyi ranked third, with cumulative sales of 355,500 units.
As the champion of SUV sales, the Haval H6 has accumulated sales of 327,700 units, ranking fourth. The Changan CS75, the runner-up in SUV sales, ranked sixth with sales of 266,700 units. In addition, Geely Boyue also sold more than 200,000 units, ranking twelfth with sales of 205,900 vehicles.
As the champion of MPV sales, Wuling Hongguang has sold 217,500 vehicles from January to November this year, ranking tenth. As the second runner-up in MPV sales, the Buick GL8 has accumulated sales of 149,200 vehicles, ranking 25th.
Cars sold more than 200,000 units were: Toyota Corolla sold 286,300 units, Tesla Model 3 sold 242,700 units, Buick Yinglang sold 241,600 units, Volkswagen Bora sold 229,300 units, and Volkswagen Sagittarius sold 212,100 units. The sales of Volkswagen Bora and Sagitar fell significantly compared with the same period last year.
Of the 12 models with cumulative sales of more than 200,000, sedans account for 8 models, SUVs account for 3 models, and only 1 model of MPV has sold more than 200,000 units.
In addition to the Tesla Model 3, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord sold more than 180,000 units, reaching 189,600 units and 180,900 units, respectively.
In terms of joint venture brand SUVs, the Honda CR-V ranked 16th with sales of 180,600 units. The Toyota RAV4 followed suit, ranking seventeenth with sales of 179,000 units. Honda XR-V, Tesla Model Y, Honda Binzhi, Honda Haoying and other models sold more than 150,000 units, 166,900 units, 159,600 units, 155,900 units and 151,600 units, respectively.
