A few days ago, Zhidian Mobility obtained a set of pictures of Toyota's new century SUV road test camouflage, which is planned to be officially released in overseas markets in September and is expected to go on sale before the end of this year or early 2024 at the earliest. At the same time, the new car is also expected to be imported into the domestic market, and the main competitors in the same level include BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Audi Q7 and other models.
As can be seen from the released pictures of the road test camouflage, Toyota's New Century SUV model is equipped with a large metal mesh grille at the head and split LED headlight groups on both sides. The rear part also provides a split LED tail light group that echoes the headlight group, and its styling design is also highly similar to the GV90 model of Genesys, which is more recognizable than Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7 and other models. In terms of dimensions, the new model has a length× 1950 × 1750mm in length, width and height, and a wheelbase of 3000mm.
In terms of power, Toyota's all-new century SUV is expected to launch a 3.5L V6 gasoline-electric hybrid engine, and the drivetrain may be matched with an 8-speed manual integrated transmission and equipped with a four-wheel drive system. In addition, the new car is also expected to launch 2.4T Hybrid MAX hybrid power models and 2.5L plug-in hybrid models for consumers to purchase in the later stage, and can be regarded as an entry-level model, which will be more cost-effective than the 3.5L hybrid version launched in the early stage.
