A few days ago, Zhidian Mobility obtained the latest news of Toyota's new crown sedan model, and the new car is expected to be named in the form of "Crown Sedan" in the early stage, and is scheduled to be officially released in the third quarter of this year (subject to the definition of overseas quarters). At the same time, the new car also pointed to the main competitors in the same class to Audi A6L, BMW 5 series, Mercedes-Benz E-class, Cadillac CT6 and other models.

As can be seen from the previously released pictures of the new car, the Toyota Crown Sedan front is equipped with a large-size straight waterfall grille, and matrix LED headlight clusters are provided on both sides. The C-pillar of the body adopts a slip-back styling design, and the rear is equipped with a through-type LED tail light cluster. In terms of size, the new car has a length, width and height of 5030×1890×1470mm, and a wheelbase of 3000mm, and its body size is also comparable to that of the domestic Audi A6L model (length, width and height 5038×1886×1475mm, wheelbase of 3024mm).

In terms of power, the Toyota Crown Sedan will be equipped with a 2.4T Hybrid Max engine, with a maximum power of 270kW and a peak torque of 542Nm, and the transmission system may provide an 8-speed manual automatic transmission. In addition, the new car will also be available as an FCEV hydrogen-powered version for consumers to purchase, and is equipped with the same powertrain as the Toyota Mirai model, equipped with three hydrogen storage tanks, with a combined maximum power of 134kW, a peak torque of 300Nm, and a maximum cruising range of 850km.
