It is reported that the new car is scheduled to make its world premiere in the middle of next year, and is expected to go on sale in the second half of the same year at the earliest, and is expected to continue to be imported into the domestic market in the form of parallel imports during the same period, and the main competitors in the same level include Volkswagen Touran, Ford Explorer and other models.

As can be seen from the exterior rendering images released, Toyota's all-new 4Runner model will provide a split blackened honeycomb grille at the head, and new LED headlight clusters on both sides. According to overseas media, the new car will be built on the TNGA-F platform together with the new Prado model, and its body size will also usher in a significant increase compared with the current model.

In terms of power, Toyota's new generation 4Runner model is expected to be equipped with a 2.8T diesel version, a 2.4T gasoline-electric hybrid and a 2.7L naturally aspirated engine, and the transmission system is mated to an 8-speed manual automatic transmission and equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
