Infiniti will push four new models, and the electric back model is directly benchmarked against the Tesla Model S

Infiniti will push four new models, and the electric back model is directly benchmarked against the Tesla Model S

Tencent Automobile, June 30, a few days ago, Infiniti announced a new logo, actively creating a more minimalist design and a "multi-sensory experience" including iconic smells, and using the dealer conference to predict some upcoming new models, in anticipation of changing the disadvantage in the original market.

According to Automotive News, Infiniti will launch four models by the end of 2027, including the redesigned QX80, the new QX65 crossover and two electric vehicles.

Two new electric vehicles, including the Q70 "successor version"

Nissan was an early proponent of electric vehicles, but when competitors launched their own electric models, Infiniti remained unmoved. Now Infiniti will also bring its own pure electric model, about which there is currently relatively little information, but dealers told Automotive News that this is an "evolutionary version" of the old Q70. The car, which is said to have similarities to Tesla's luxury Model S, is a "sedan with a tail design similar to that of a Porsche" and is expected to go on sale by the end of 2026. The electric crossover, which will hit the market in mid-2027, will likely resemble the futuristic QX50 in design.

The 2025QX80 will be available next summer at a six-figure price with 450 horsepower

The redesigned QX80 will go on sale next summer and will cost more than $100,000 (about 720,000 yuan). If this price is confirmed, it will be a huge leap forward for the brand - after all, the current starting price of the model is $72,700 (about 530,000 yuan).

While the SUV is still a year away from launching, it is said to feature creative designs such as combining the iconic grille with the "Range Rover's blocky proportions" for exterior builds.

In addition, the model is said to have a cab similar to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and is equipped with a 24-inch display consisting of a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system. In addition, the QX80 will feature touchscreen climate control and a more spacious third row. This exciting "flagship" technology can detect a person's body temperature and adjust the climate control system accordingly using a sensor device.

And in terms of powertrain, as expected, the V8 engine will be phased out in favor of a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine. While we don't know enough about it, the model is reportedly matched with 450 horsepower.

The new QX65 crossover coupe will be launched in 2025

Infiniti plans to launch the new QX65 after the launch of this model, that is, in mid-2025. As the name suggests, the model will be based on the QX60, but with a smaller crossover coupe design similar to the QX55. The two-row QX65 will be equipped with a gas engine, but no more specifics have been revealed yet — if it uses the QX60's 3.5-liter V6, it puts out 295 horsepower (220 kW/299 hp) and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque.
