In February, the joint venture SUV sold more than 10,000 units, with a total of 10 models. Among them, Tesla Model Y wholesale sales of 32,403 units, won the joint venture SUV sales champion, is also the highest wholesale sales of SUV models in February.
Honda CR-V sales grew steadily, ranking second in February with 25,159 units sold, up 60.7% year-on-year, and selling more than 24,000 units for two consecutive months. Nissan Qashqai followed, ranking third with sales of 15,615 vehicles.
The Honda XR-V also had a good market performance, ranking fourth in February with sales of 14,526 units and the best-selling small SUV model. The Toyota RAV4 ranked fifth, selling 14,502 units in February, just 24 fewer than the XR-V.
The Japanese brand is still the most popular joint venture SUV series among consumers, and among the top ten joint venture SUV models in terms of sales, Japanese SUVs account for half of the country, of which Honda Haoying sold 11,089 units and Honda Binzhi 10,177 vehicles.
Among luxury brands, the Mercedes-Benz GLC sold 11,944 units, ranking seventh, only 4 cars less than the Buick Encore family, which ranked sixth. The Audi Q5L ranked ninth with sales of 10,330 units, down 7.4 percent year-over-year. The BMW X3, which performed well in the second half of last year, sold only 7786 units in February, ranking only thirteenth.
Volkswagen Tanyue and Tiguan L sales did not exceed 10,000 units, 9898 units and 9726 units respectively, up 39.8% and 4.1% year-on-year, ranking eleventh and twelfth. In addition, the Jetta VS5 sold 7653 units, ranking fourteenth.
