Tesla China: Delivery time extended!

On June 29, according to Tesla China's official website, the domestic delivery time of Tesla Model Y rear-wheel drive version, long-range version and high-performance version was extended to 2-6 weeks, compared with 2-5 weeks for the rear-wheel drive version and long-range version of Model Y, and 1-4 weeks for the high-performance version.
Previously, on May 16, local time in the United States, Tesla held its 2023 annual shareholders' meeting. At this shareholder meeting, Tesla CEO Elon Musk addressed shareholders. For the new energy vehicle business, Musk said that Tesla Model Y will become "the world's number one car in sales this year."
On May 26, Tesla Weibo posted that Model Y became the world's best-selling model in the first quarter of this year.
On May 12, the State Administration for Market Regulation said that Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures of the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products.
The number reached an unprecedented 1,104,600 units, including some imported Model S, Model X, Model 3, and domestically produced Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.
From May 29, 2023, a total of 1104622 imported Model S, Model X, Model 3, and domestically produced Model 3 and Model Y vehicles with production dates between January 12, 2019 and April 24, 2023 will be recalled.
Vehicles covered by this recall do not allow drivers to select an energy recovery braking strategy; At the same time, there may not be enough reminders for the driver's prolonged deep press of the accelerator pedal. The combination of the above factors may increase the probability of accidentally pressing the accelerator pedal for a long time, which may increase the risk of collision and have potential safety hazards.
