Now some people in the city envy the rural people, believing that the current rural living conditions are very good, the farmland is mechanized, there is no heavy physical labor of the past, and the air is fresher than in the city. However, this urban-rural gap between rural and urban areas is still quite large.
Perhaps our generation is still lucky, at least it has caught up with the good era of reform and opening up, washing feet and going to the fields to become a migrant worker in the city, with this good policy, plus their own efforts can finally survive in the city.
But the real suffering is actually our father's generation of farmers, to know that their generation planted a lifetime of farmland, when they were young in the countryside to build water conservancy, pay public grain, build bridges and roads for the collective, to be honest, nominally to support the family, but in fact, the contribution to the country is not less than the people who work in the city. Now that they are all old, the state sends dozens of yuan a month to subsidize them, and those elderly people who get this money are still grateful for the party's good policies. And some urban office workers, once unemployed, receive hundreds of unemployment benefits every month, but many people are still full of complaints about society, compared with the two, how simple these rural elderly people are.
At present, the state is advocating common prosperity and allowing the whole people to enjoy the dividends and fruits of reform and opening up.
