Israel pokes down the hornet's nest, and the countries of the Middle East want to join forces? Iran and Saudi Arabia are starting to huddle

author:Sister America

Israel's military campaign to besiege Rafah shows no signs of coming to an end. The Israeli Ministry of Defense confirmed on 15 May that Israeli forces had stormed a refugee camp in Gaza and killed several militants.

In addition, Israeli warplanes have launched air strikes against Lebanon, targeting Allah in Lebanon. The Times of Israel reported on May 15 that Allah fired dozens of rockets at Israel itself, and Israel then sounded its air defense alarm.

In Rafah, Israel has engaged in fierce fighting with Palestinian forces such as Hamas and Jihad. Hamas targets, including rocket firing sites, weapons depots and underground tunnels, have been destroyed.

Although Hamas refuses to surrender, Israel is not worried about being defeated by its opponents in the absolute disparity of strength.

But that doesn't mean Israel can rest easy, as Israel's military campaign against Rafah has angered Iran, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries.

Israel has bad news. There are growing indications that Israel is likely to be retaliated by Arab countries if it continues to besiege Rafah and cause a serious humanitarian catastrophe.

First of all, the Arab countries are going to send troops to Gaza? According to a report by RIA Novosti on May 15, the United States has put forward a proposal to call on Arab countries to send troops to Gaza, but the time will be after the end of the Gaza conflict. At the moment, the US military does not want to go to Gaza for peacekeeping.

Arab countries such as Egypt and the United Arab Emirates are considering whether to send troops to Gaza, but some Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, are reluctant to do so. Saudi Arabia believes that sending a peacekeeping force to Gaza could be seen as a move to cooperate with Israel.

Both Jordan and Egypt condemned Israel for the reason that Israel insisted on carrying out military operations in Rafah despite its advice. As long as Israel controls the Rafah crossing, it will be difficult for Egypt to supply Gaza. At the moment, Egypt is no longer prepared to help Israel reach a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, and has canceled the talks with Israel that have been scheduled for a long time.

Not to mention Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. Before Israel besieged Rafah, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries said that Israel had violated international law and that the international community should sanction Israel. After the Israeli army went to Rafah and caused a large number of innocent casualties, it is even less likely that Saudi Arabia will be able to reconcile with Israel.

What is uncertain now is whether Arab countries such as Egypt and the United Arab Emirates will actually send troops to Gaza. If a coalition is to be formed, when should this peacekeeping force go to Gaza? Everything is unknown.

You know, Israel is not easy to mess with.

The second thing is that Iran and Saudi Arabia have once again deepened their cooperation. Iran believes that over the past year or so, cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia has been successful in a number of fields, and it welcomes this. Iran also stressed that there would be specific discussions on personnel travelling to Iran from 15 Arab countries on issues such as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Iran also revealed that it will continue to deepen cooperation with Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, and that Iran will maintain unity with these countries.

Prior to that, Saudi Arabia had accepted five proposals from Iran and pledged to accelerate their implementation.

This means that Iran and Saudi Arabia are moving further and further away on the road of reconciliation and strengthening cooperation. In this regard, the United States is restless.

In order to prevent Saudi Arabia from uniting with Iran and promote reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and Israel, the United States has resorted to all means. The White House's message is clear: as long as Saudi Arabia agrees to U.S. conditions, such as distancing itself from Iran and rapprochement with Israel, the U.S. can provide Saudi Arabia with more security guarantees and export weapons to Saudi Arabia that it has not been allowed to export before.

It is clear that the efforts of the United States have failed. Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries are well aware that if the Middle East is no longer united, sooner or later Israel will be broken one by one. Because neither Saudi Arabia nor the United Arab Emirates know whether Israel will target other Arab countries after defeating Hamas.

In this case, it would be a good option for Saudi Arabia to work with Iran to put pressure on Israel. You know, Egypt, Qatar and other Arab countries have made it clear that they will not involve Israel in the management of Gaza.

It is not difficult to see that anti-Israel sentiment is high in Arab countries. But it is undeniable that there are indeed differences among Arab countries, and the United States will not give up supporting Israel. If the United States creates chaos in the Middle East and fanned the flames between Iran and Saudi Arabia, it is difficult to say.

The world is like a chess game, there are many unexpected variables, and how to deal with it is a test that the United States, Israel, Iran, and Saudi Arabia must face. As for who will win, it's really hard to say for the time being. But what is certain is that the Palestinians living in Gaza are suffering, and the countries of the world want this tragedy to end quickly.
