Every time the spring flowers bloom
There is a group of "uninvited guests" - hornets
I like to live close to humans
They are "encamped" everywhere
It has brought great security problems to people
Why hornets frequently disturb people
From April to October every year, bees and wasps are active and nesting is concentrated. Usually, they choose a well-ventilated place with plenty of light and shelter from the wind and rain. The balconies and eaves of residential buildings are suitable for wasps to live and breed, and become a nesting gathering place for wasps. In addition, with the expansion of urban green areas, insect activity is frequent, and plants grow vigorously, providing more abundant food for wasps.
The dangers of wasps
Wasps, also known as wasps, are large and long, and are more poisonous
The toxins in hornets are very complex, and the main ingredient is melitin, which stimulates blood vessels to constrict, causing the heart to beat irregularly or even stop beating. In addition, melittin also has a neurostimulatory effect, mainly paralyzing cranial nerves, and these two toxicities are very similar to the toxicity of snake venom. Generally speaking, people with non-allergic constitution can only be fatal after being stung by more than 50 wasps. If you are allergic, being stung by a wasp may lead to glomerulonephritis, which can be fatal within a few hours through allergic reactions.
How to prevent a hornet attack
01
When working or playing in the field, you should strengthen personal protection, including wearing light-colored clothes and pants, avoiding the use of fragrant skin care products or perfumes, and carrying with you to carry anti-poison bee stings.
02
Don't poke the hornet's nest indiscriminately, but ask a professional to remove the nest. If you accidentally provoke a hornet, you can lie down and do not run, so as not to cause the hornets to swarm and pursue.
03
A few bees flutter around and don't bother when they are harassed. When the hornet rests on the head or shoulder, shake it off gently, and do not slap it.
How to respond to a hornet attack
01
If you are attacked, do not run, and do not pounce repeatedly. The best thing to do is to lie down on the spot, protect exposed areas such as your head and neck with clothing, or crouch still.
02
If you are unfortunately stung by a wasp, you should first pick out the bee needles in the wound, do not squeeze or suck the wound, you can rinse with soapy water, vinegar, etc., and then apply ice cubes to the wound, which can reduce pain and swelling.
03
Seek medical attention immediately if symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, laryngeal edema, and difficulty breathing occur or if the injury is severe.
How to protect yourself from hornet's nest near your place of residence
01
If you find a hornet's nest near you or on your roof, you can prepare a bottle of insecticide such as exterminator to prevent hornets from attacking. Call the police on 119 in time, ask the fire department for help, and don't act without permission.
02
If the nest has not yet been built, but only a small number of wasps are flying, you can do proper protection at night, when the hornet's activity is weak, spray with insecticides by yourself, drive away and sanitize.
03
For the removed honeycomb, we should spray some wind oil essence or flower water on the roots, which can not only eliminate the smell, but also prevent it from nesting again.
Reminder
Hornets are easily irritated
Please stay away from wasps
Don't "poke" the hornet's nest at will
