In 2019, the Child Companion Mother Project walked into Lukengling Village, Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, to send hopes and dreams to the left-behind children here, and to send Ganlin sunshine companionship to the children in the mountains. Nowadays, the unique red color of the child companion mother has become the most beautiful scenery in Lukengling Village.
Li Haiyan, 33 years old this year, was originally a "swallow" soaring all over the world, dreaming of becoming a teacher. After becoming a mother, in order not to let her children become left-behind children, she chose to stay in Lukengling Village.
With the dream of being a teacher in her heart, she first opened a kindergarten in the village, and later, she went to Lukengling Primary School as a substitute teacher. Every time she saw the children's vibrant little faces and thirsty eyes, she was more determined in her choice, and she also saw the dreams in her heart shining.
When the children's companion mother project came to Lukengling Village, Li Haiyan immediately introduced herself: "I am a teacher and a mother, and taking care of the children is both the teacher's duty and the mother's obligation!" ”
In this way, she became the "shared mother" of the village.
"Child companion mother" is not just four words, behind which you need to assume the responsibility of the mother.
In order to understand the children more specifically, she visited the children in the village one by one and recorded the situation of each child in detail; in order to cultivate the children's hands-on ability and expression ability, she held many meaningful activities in the Children's Companion Home to attract the children's participation; for the children's physical and mental health while learning, she patiently tutored the children's homework... Big things and small things, Li Haiyan was worried about her stomach. And these bits and pieces also constitute Li Haiyan's daily life.
Slowly, Li Haiyan found that the job of the child companion mother was even more "arduous and far-reaching" than that of the teacher. Along the way, she has used patience, carefulness, perseverance and confidence to continuously break through the siege, just like the upgrade of fighting monsters, leading the children to the future!
The child companion mothers are like stars in the sky, scattered in the countryside of the mountains, illuminating a corner of the land, and guarding the children's dreams with companionship!
There is also a "star" in Yansha Village, Fengshan Township, Shicheng County, Jiangxi Province— she is the mother of the child companion, Wen Yuemei.
Wen Yuemei was born in a large family of nine children, her parents were exhausted in order to support a group of children, and when she was a child, she did not dare to ask for the company of her parents. It is precisely because of the "special experience" of her childhood that when she grows up as a mother, she pays special attention to the company of her children and gives them a warm childhood. This also reassures parents who are forced to work outside the home and cannot always accompany their children.
At the beginning of her role as a child companion mother, Wen Yuemei designed a brochure and poster, in order to gain trust, she printed her phone number and ID card number on it, and established a WeChat group for child companion mothers, using the fastest speed to let villagers understand what child companion mothers do.
Now that I have been a child companion mother for more than three years, the WeChat group is like a big family. When the child companion mother performs every activity, Wen Yuemei will send the photos of the activity, the child's works, and the small video in the group, so that many parents who work outside the home can see the happy smiling faces of the children and more intuitively see the positive changes of the children. Parents all said: "With you Wen Yuemei here, we will be relieved outside!" ”
Wen Yuemei, who has an optimistic and enthusiastic personality, has brought positive and happy influences to the people around her; she has brought companionship to every child in the village, and she has run the role of "child companion mother" with twelve points of enthusiasm...
In order to better help solve the problem of care and protection of left-behind children in underdeveloped areas, the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation joined hands with Magic Square To quantitatively launch the "Magic Square Child Companion Mother Program". Magic Fang quantified donated 20 million yuan to the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, established 100 children's companion homes in underdeveloped areas across the country, and recruited 100 full-time "mothers" to provide care and help for rural left-behind children and children in distress.
Through the cultivation of rural women to carry out the care and protection of left-behind children, the project adopts the model of "one person, one home, one link", with the mother of the child companion as the starting point, the child companion home as the platform, and the county-level horizontal linkage mechanism as the guarantee, and establishes a village-level left-behind and distressed child guardianship network to ensure the delivery of child welfare services for the last kilometer.
In the future, it is expected to benefit 30,000 rural children, promote the improvement of rural children, especially left-behind and distressed children, in terms of safety, psychology, guardianship and health, ensure their safe, healthy and happy growth, build a service network for the welfare and protection of rural children, meet the development needs of rural children, and promote their integration into society; and enhance the theoretical and practical ability of 100 child companion mothers in child policy, child protection, child communication, child social work, and child psychology. Service capacity in child care and protection has been enhanced.
