In addition to the changes in consumption trends caused by new energy and intelligence; because the epidemic is still repeated, domestic consumption and the global supply chain of vehicles have also been affected to varying degrees, which in turn has led to changes in the market pattern, and some automakers have opened the road to the sea even if they are not so lacking in cores, resulting in a sharp decline in production capacity and thus a decrease in market share; there are also some manufacturers that are not so lacking in cores, but are constrained by domestic consumption, in order to pursue higher growth, they have opened the way to the sea.
The data best illustrate the change. In recent days, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released the November national automobile production and sales data, the general direction is to continue to decline year-on-year, production and sales fell by 9.3% and 9.1% year-on-year, the overall is not good; however, in addition to the year-on-year decline, there are also some details and highlights, such as the data of October, production and marketing increased by 10.9% and 8.1% respectively, indicating that the overall is currently improving and developing in a better direction.
Specifically, production and sales of vehicles totaled 2.585 million units in November, and sales totaled 2.522 million units, respectively. Among them, the production and sales of SUV models in the passenger car field have exceeded the sedan models, indicating that the current market pattern has undergone irreversible changes, and once it was still a pattern in which SUVs and cars were equally divided, and the future will be further developed in the direction of SUV dominance.
Similar trend changes, there is also a dispute between pure electric and hybrid in the field of new energy. Previously, there was a mainstream view that hybrid is an inevitable choice for the transition of a long time in the future, hybrid models, especially plug-in hybrids, will be the mainstay of the car market, and pure electric, will be a long time after the hybrid, will slowly become the mainstream of the market.
However, under the current vigorous development of new infrastructure and the dual-credit and dual-carbon policy, pure electric vehicle models have accelerated the trend of becoming the main force in the market, and the cumulative growth rate of its production and sales has reached 191.5% and 185.3% respectively; it has greatly exceeded the 129.4% and 147.6% of plug-in hybrid production and sales.
This also means that plug-in hybrids are almost defined as "pure transition segment models" and that the necessary time for their transition may be shorter than expected.
From the perspective of consumers' long-term use of cars, under the expectation of the gradual reduction of fuel supply facilities in the future, including the retention rate of used car fuel and new energy in the future, the situation may be reversed in the future, and in the next few years, the purchase of pure electric vehicle models is undoubtedly a better choice than plug-in and mixing.
