As an extension of the sedan, Wagon has all the common functions of a sedan, and also provides consumers with added value that ordinary cars do not have. Wagon evolved into a synonym for a specialized sedan model, based on the sedan, with the trunk raised to level with the roof, greatly increasing luggage space. In China, consumers are used to translating Wagon as "station wagon." The travel version, hunting version is another name, and now this model has also gained a lot of users in China, and more electric models have been introduced to the market. Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo

Interested in the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo but want a little less Audi Allroad treatment? The Taycan Sport Turismo has a slightly reduced body height, which is a fairly streamlined model, which is an alternative existence in high-end recreational models.

It comes with a smaller entry-level 79.2kWh battery and a 402bhp electric motor that only drives real wheels, meaning the starting price is slightly cheaper. Peugeot e-308 SW

Peugeot's design team has been busy lately, and the third-generation 308, launched in 2021, is no exception. Initially only available for petrol and diesel engines, Peugeot announced last year that it would start offering electrified models on brick surfaces for the model, giving the electric version of the station wagon another option.

The e-308 and e-308 SW (short for Sports Wagon, FYI) will be equipped with a 153bhp electric motor and a 54kWh battery for a range of up to 258 miles, and the 100kW fast charge allows a percentage charge from 20% to 80% in just 25 minutes, of course, you need to be able to find a plug that can match the charging speed.

Inside, you can see Peugeot's familiar i-Cockpit, complete with a high-level instrument cluster. Some people love it, some hate it, but there doesn't seem to be much to argue about space and practicality.

Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer

We are big fans of the new Vauxhall Astra – beautiful looks, good driving experience and low running costs. Naturally, when consumers heard that there was an electric version, their ears pricked up.

The Vauxhall Astra Electric hatchback and Sports Tourer have the same sleek look as the internal combustion engine model, and the specifications of the powertrain are familiar: 156bhp electric motor, 54kWh battery, 258 miles range. Yes, there's a lot of Stellantis cross-platform sharing here.

Vauxhall is also quick to point out that luggage space has not dropped (at least compared to the PHEV variant) due to the battery being located at the bottom of the vehicle, which means 352 liters for the hatch and 516 liters for the Sports Tourer. In other words, there is plenty of space for luggage stacking.

Audi A6 Avant e-tron

When the A6 e-tron concept was revealed in April 2021, we were impressed, but also secretly prayed that it would release an Avant version. This is because the SUV model is both aesthetically pleasing and practical compared to the coupe style.

A year later, Audi unveiled the A6 Avant e-tron concept. Appropriate futurism is added to the main line of design. It's 4.96 meters long, 1.96 meters wide and 1.44 meters high, and while Audi didn't give us any details of the guiding space, we were told it would be the "space champion". It will be based on Audi's new PPE platform, delivering up to 462bhp and 590lb ft of torque via two electric motors, a 100kW battery for 435 miles and a charging speed of up to 270kW, meaning it can be charged 186 miles in just 10 minutes.

Audi RS6 e-tron

If there's anything better than the A6 Avant e-tron, it's the RS6 e-tron. Of course, the car is still being built. We at least have some clues on the design, with Audi design chief Mark Lichter telling the media that the RS6 will have a wider track and larger wheels to differentiate it from the upcoming A6 e-tron.

We also hope that the upcoming RS6 will be better than the A6 e-tron's claimed 0-62mph time of less than four seconds, which will indeed be very fast. Supercar performance, practical packaging, wait and see.

Volkswagen ID.Space Vizzion / ID.7 Tourer

Back in 2019, Volkswagen presented its ID.Space Vizzion concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show – a sleek, futuristic and aesthetically pleasing-looking all-electric vehicle. Until last year, it was all very calm, when news broke that Volkswagen had applied for a patent for the name ID.7 Tourer.

Then, earlier this year, Volkswagen revealed (to some extent) its ID.7 sedan. Logically, the ID.7 Tourer will be a touring version of the sedan - while the latter seems to be on the verge of production, we shouldn't have to wait long. Again, the details are slightly weaker, but we do know that the ID.7 sedan will be based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform with an estimated range of 435 miles, so expect similarity. We'll be very happy if it ends up looking like the ID.Space Vizzion concept car.
