This year's brand night, in addition to honda technical research executive director and China minister Katsushi Inoue released the "e:N brand declaration". The heavy information is that the e:N brand landed on the same platform two models will be listed soon.
Dongfeng Honda e:NS1 was officially launched on April 26 (pre-priced at 180,000-210,000 yuan), and Guangqi Honda e:NP1 will start pre-sale in May.
Honda electric car core concept, there is driving pleasure without motion sickness
Honda talks about e:NS1 and e:NP1, spending the most effort to improve driving pleasure without relying on simple parameter stacking, declaring that this is an electric car that "does not get motion sickness".
Doesn't motion sickness be generally dynamic? Taking Tomoto e:NS1 as an example, the maximum power of the motor is 150kW, equipped with a ternary lithium battery of 68.8kWh, and the front-drive platform of pure electric architecture "e:N Architecture" is indeed not high performance.
How does motion sickness happen? Motion sickness is usually caused by visual information that differs from perception in the inner ear, skin, or body. For example, driving does not get motion sickness, but it is easy to get motion sickness in a car, and the back row is more likely to get motion sickness than the front row, which happens due to the difference in perception and reality.
Why are electric vehicles more susceptible to motion sickness than fuel vehicles? Because the torque of the electric motor reaches its maximum speed at zero rotational speed, the acceleration becomes much more sudden, and it is easier to get motion sickness. In addition, due to the more kinetic energy recovery technology used by electric vehicles, the sudden deceleration of the electric gate vehicle also makes passengers more likely to get motion sickness.
Through delicate and precise motor control, Honda constantly adjusts the pedal response and power output characteristics to solve the problem of motion sickness. One thing that is easy to understand is the more linear, powerful but not violent power output.
Honda claims that for the daily actual use scenarios of Chinese consumers, the electronic control assembly has become more than 40 times that of ordinary EV models, and there are more than 20,000 kinds of control scenario algorithms to cope with various driving environments.
To this end, Honda has also added honda EV Sound acceleration sound in sport mode, which simulates the sound wave like the Ford Electric Mustang to provide a more exciting acceleration experience.
Honda engineers even mentioned that the car has the acceleration sound of Formula FE, which tempts you to constantly step on the accelerator.
Smart cockpits are practical, but not cool enough

Honda e:NS1 and e:NP1 are equipped with Honda's most intelligent "e:N OS" full-stack intelligent control ecosystem. This includes a combination of Honda SENSING, Honda CONNECT, and smart digital cockpits.
Starting with the screen, the 10.25-inch color full-LCD digital instrument cluster is conventional equipment, and then there is a 15.1-inch central control vertical screen like the Xiaopeng P5, as well as streaming mirrors.
The DMC Driver Status Perception System, which is equipped for the first time, is interesting, recognizing the driver's state and even detecting changes in mood and actively alerting them. For example, Honda engineers mentioned being able to identify whether the driver is looking out the window or looking in the rearview mirror.
It can be seen that Honda's creation of electric vehicles is different from the concept of new forces in car manufacturing.
