Confusion is something that everyone will experience, some people will experience it earlier, some people will experience it later, but it will more or less bring some sadness and discomfort.

I am going to college, I don't know what job I will do later; after working for a few years, my career has entered a bottleneck period, I don't know where to go; I am about to graduate, I don't know whether to choose graduate school or choose to work, etc., this series of things need us to make decisions, and each of them has a profound impact on our future life, so we fall into confusion and fall into meditation.

Confusion means the need to make choices, and making choices means taking responsibility, so we worry, hesitate, and feel pain. But on the other hand, because we have a lot of choices, we are confused, and maybe many people have only one way in front of them, and that is also a pain.

Think back to when we were young, our only goal was the small exam, the middle exam, the college entrance examination, most people do not have to be confused, because there is no choice, we have a relatively clear way forward, there is a single wooden bridge that must be crossed. People always like to be sure of things, like to pay for what must be rewarding, so we will be afraid and painful when we encounter uncertain situations and face unknown risks.

Now that we have left the school, we have found that there are thousands of roads and thousands of possibilities in front of us, and we are in a state of confusion for a while.

Most people's confusion may not see their own advantages, many people will feel that they do not know enough about themselves, so they stay in place, try to explore themselves through inward thinking, understand themselves, and hope to determine their suitable fields through a period of thinking. That's not bad, but most of the time it feels like getting stuck in a dead loop, stuck in a situation where you keep thinking but not practicing and trying, leading to more anxiety.

The root cause of confusion is a lack of information to make decisions, rather than not thinking enough.

For example, many people feel that the work in front of them is constantly repetitive and time-consuming, and the colleagues around them are also immersed in such a situation and atmosphere, there is no motivation to explore the unknown environment, the body and spirit do not want to change, only occasionally unwilling, emotionally from time to time lost for a while, but will not fall into a long period of confusion.

Another part of the people at this time began to be confused, because they had seen the ceiling of the job, saw the final ending, faced with the choice of going down or going out like this, but out of the comfort zone that they had adapted to, what could they do? Can it be done well? This series of uncertain questions has led to a long period of confusion.

Personal advice, when confused, do not stand still, do not stay in the comfort zone, get moving, and use every opportunity to contact the information you are interested in. The earlier you come into contact with information, the more information you have, the richer your experience, the higher the likelihood that you will make the right decision, and standing where you are will only fall into the same unsolvable cycle as yesterday.

So, if you're still in college, read more books, the school library doesn't cost money. Take part in a few different types of short-term internships, and the company will give you money. If you're confused, get out of the syllabus and get out of campus. Go for a brave try in the vast expanse outside.

If you're already working, you can also read more books, which is much cheaper than cosmetics. Participate in more out-of-circle activities, meet people in other industries, learn a new craft that interests you, and learn about a new area of expertise that interests you. Maybe you'll find that your next career stage of development comes from your constant learning.

Because there is a choice, so it is confused, more information, more information, will make a relatively correct decision, but also reduce the feeling of confusion.
