Qilu Evening News, Qilu one-point reporter Gong Yueyue planned and sorted Editor's note: "The day is not everywhere, youth comes from just now; moss flowers are as small as rice, and peonies are also learned." "This is a true portrayal of the vast majority of small-scale rural schools. In the past 2021, the reporter went from Yinan to Yuncheng, and then from Zhuanhua to Yiyuan squatting, witnessing many educators with feelings taking root in the countryside, and they are working hard to make up for the gap with glimmer and help rural children grow better. The family sits idly and the lights are amiable, which is the ideal state for the Spring Festival reunion. In small-scale rural schools in many parts of Shandong, countless rural principals and teachers are rushing to the homes of students in remote rural areas that lead to the middle of the mountain, and they want to use their precious winter vacation time to go to their children's homes and enter their children's hearts. From now on, the Qilu Evening News Qilu One-Point "Youth Talk" column will successively launch the "Winter Holiday Memories of Rural Principals/Teachers", focusing on what rural teachers see, hear and feel during home visits, light up the dreams of rural children, and inject strength into rural revitalization. The following is the winter holiday record of Li Tianhua, director of the security office of Caojiazhuang Complete Primary School in Dazhangzhuang Town, Yiyuan County:

February 4, 2022 Lunar New Year's Day The weather turned cloudy and sunny

Today I was on duty at school, got up early in the morning, ate breakfast, and brought two packs of instant noodles for lunch. At 7:30 am ready to go out, the sky was cloudy, and it was not sunny for a long time. It takes a 45-mile drive, or about 30 minutes, to get from home to school. At this point on the fourth day of the Chinese New Year, there are not many cars on the road, it is a "whizzing" place, and it is only when entering the township road that it slows down.

On the east side of the township road is a row of strawberry greenhouses, and when you see someone buying strawberries, you will stop and join in the fun.

Just after opening the door, I heard the fruit grower explaining to the buyer: "This strawberry can not be planted continuously, planted for a few years will not bear fruit, originally harvested 100 pounds, only give you 60 pounds, now it is fashionable, in the cultivation soil, plant a stubble, get the soil again." This year the price of strawberries is good again, forty-one catties picked. From the endless gushing of fruit farming, I can realize that now it is all "science to revitalize agriculture".

A corner of the school entrance.

When I got to school, everywhere was quiet. Opening the door of the duty room, I was very skilled in starting the duty process: filling out the duty record form; adjusting the temperature of the office air conditioner; opening the computer to upload the epidemic information that needs to be reported on the epidemic platform; and transferring the health card for fourteen days of health monitoring and travel to the teachers. There is no news about the epidemic in the group, which is the best news for us! I, the director of security, couldn't have been more skilled in this work.

Suddenly remembering the cultural wall and function room renovated by the school during the holidays, I couldn't wait to run to the teaching building after completing these tasks. The "Fuyang" cultural wall in the teaching building has been completed and is very spectacular, the class culture wall in front of the classroom has also been renovated, and the conference rooms and multi-purpose rooms have been put into use. Before, we didn't even have a place for meetings and open classes, but this was good, all standard. Hearing that the purchase and construction of these facilities was completed by President Wang Huantao to pull donations from caring people in the society, my heart burst with gratitude. Everything in the teaching building is intact, the surrounding area has been carefully observed, and everything is normal.

The "jingle bell" phone rang, and Director Zhao, who was in charge of campus safety work in the school district, informed him to complete the report of the vaccination table. Oh, yes! Everyone in charge of safety work during the holidays is not idle, and we stick to each other's posts for a safe and peaceful winter vacation. A trot back to the office, by the way, the safety accident report on the 1-5 days of each month and the safety self-examination is completed.

It was almost 10 o'clock when I looked up at my watch, and there were still a few snowflakes falling in the sky, dancing with the wind, and suddenly I thought of the children I was teaching. Turn on the phone and click on the class group, I assigned a task to the fifth grade children: students, please complete an experiment today, find several circles (no less than 4) to measure their circumference and diameter, and find the ratio of circumference to diameter, and take a picture of me after the completion of the list. Measure the perimeter and take a photo, one in diameter, for at least three in total. Note that the perimeter is not calculated, it is measured.

After a while, the group became lively, the students replied to the receipt, and asked many questions, and then there was a silence, and the children must have gone to work!

After reading the photos posted by the students in the group, it was already noon. After correcting some mistakes and talking for a while, I hurriedly greeted the children for lunch.

Restaurant in the sun.

Soaking in instant noodles, I remembered the familiar faces of the children, and I unconsciously laughed strangely: I still think that these little naughty people are really inseparable from them!

Years ago, the greasy on the table made the instant noodles delicious, three times five divided by two was solved, at this time the sky has been clear, the sun is also lazily hanging in the air, the dull instant noodles are still dangling in the stomach, prompting me to push the door out for a walk, the campus under the sun is particularly warm, looking at the "Fuyang River" at the school gate, the babbling river flows through the school gate, and the silver glow is shining against the unmelted snow on both sides, which is very beautiful. Suddenly remembering the holiday reading arranged by the principal before the holiday, I returned to the office a little reluctantly to find the book that the principal had given me, Sukhomlinsky's "Advice for Teachers".

At first, I was still very perfunctory, but when I looked at it, I was attracted by the brilliance of the book. From the first suggestion, "There are no and no abstract students", all the way to the twelfth article, "How to make checking homework an effective mental work for students", to be honest, when the former principal asked me to read more, I was resistant, "What do I do as a math teacher reading so many books!" When I read the chapter "How to Expand Knowledge by Reading", I vaguely understood the principal's intentions.

Time passed quite quickly, and at 4:30 p.m., I reported to the school district by phone about today's duty. The phone did not hang up, and the security personnel who took over in the afternoon had already come to the school.

"Director Li, the sky is dark fast, and there is still such a long way to go, hurry up and go home!"

"No hurry..."

In response to the security work of the new semester, we talked for a while, checked the security supplies, and handed over today's duty work.

As the sun set, I was ready to drive home. Just about to start, I remembered something, and then I went back to the office and took the "Advice for Teachers" that the principal had given me.
