We selected the model complaint data of the vehicle quality network from January to November 2021, and combined with the sales volume of these models in the same period, we came up with the top 50 complaint volume and the top 50 complaint rate list in 2021.

From the perspective of the complaint rate, because it is calculated by the number of complaints and sales in 2021, those models that were originally high in sales and high ownership will be outrageous if they decline in recent years.
And it is interesting that Tesla has been on the cusp of public opinion for many years, and the sales of Model 3 and Model Y are also in the top 10 of the market segment, but probably due to the current low ownership, it is not on the list.

Complaints based on "strength"
According to the total number of complaints, Tanyue, Euler Good Cat, Sagitar, Maiteng and Xuanyi were the five models with the highest number of complaints, especially Tanyue, which won the first place in the list with 1903 complaints.
Tanyue fell into a large number of complaints, and it was also necessary to start from the upgrade of emission standards from "National V" to "National VI" that year. Unlike other car companies that innovate engine technology and use hybrid or small displacement engines to meet emission standards, Tanyue still uses the EA888 2.0T engine that can be developed back to 20 years ago, and does not vigorously transform it, but chooses to install a "particle trap" to the vehicle to achieve vehicle exhaust purification.
But the problem is that the installed Tanyue cannot travel at a low speed for a long time. If you drive at a low speed for a long time, the particle trap will be blocked, which will cause a chain reaction, the engine exhaust is not smooth, the engine start-stop function fails, the engine suddenly stops, the engine noise is large, the engine is weak, the fuel consumption is increased, etc., and it is easy to cause traffic accidents.
In the face of the owner's complaint, Volkswagen also gave a solution: avoid long-term short-distance driving, and every three to five should be no less than 80 km / h to pull it. This even gave birth to the "high-speed business of running on behalf of the generation", the price of salted fish is clearly marked, and a trip to Shanghai is 400.
Euler Good Cat won the first place in the new energy complaint rankings, mainly because "the publicity does not match the actual situation". Euler Good Cat's publicity is equipped with Qualcomm 8155 chips as the core selling point, but the owner found that it is actually equipped with the Intel 4-core A3940 listed in 2016, both in price and computing power. The cost of the Qualcomm 8155P chip is estimated to be twice that of Intel chips, and its hash rate is about ten times that of Intel quad-core chips.
Faw-Volkswagen's two cars, Sagittarius and Magotan, are also the hardest hit areas of complaints, mostly related to transmissions. Many Sagittarius owners reported that the car gearbox shift was abrupt and abnormal, which seemed to be a more common failure of Volkswagen's dual-clutch transmission.
In addition to similar complaints such as gearbox setbacks and abnormal noises, many car owners have exposed the related failures of their "transmission electromechanical unit damage can not be hung", the manufacturer has not responded to relevant quality problems, and dealers said that they need to repair at their own expense.
The sixth to tenth models in the total number of complaints, except for GAC Trumpchi, are all Japanese cars. Among them, the complaints of Nissan Xuanyi and X-Trail are concentrated in the gearbox.
The owner of the Nissan Xuanyi car reported that the car's gearbox oil was abnormal, and the transmission would appear "whistle" when driving at low speeds. The owner of X-Trail reported that the fuel consumption of Nissan cars using CVT gearboxes is indeed slightly lower, but the gearbox does not rise gears, accelerates slowly, and even cannot accelerate.
The main problems of the Honda CR-V and Civic are focused on the oil and tires, the CR-V oil leakage problem still occurs from time to time, and the Civic has tires that eat tires and wear abnormally. Owners suspect that the tires supplied by their suppliers are of poor quality.
Toyota Corolla's complaints focused on gearbox setbacks, abnormal noises, and abnormal noises in body accessories and electrical center consoles, but given Corolla's ownership and sales, this seems normal.

These models, and even car companies, have gradually been abandoned by consumers in the process of transforming the car market into a new energy automobile industry, and their sales performance in 2021 is very poor. For example, Hyundai Leading also had the glory of selling 10,000 vehicles per month in 2020, but in 2021 it was the fate of suspension of sales, and other such as Ford Impreza and Buick Kaiyue are also the end of the strong crossbow.
Among the top 50 models with a complaint rate, the lower complaint rate includes Buick Yinglang, Corolla, Audi A6L, Rongfang, Xuanyi, Bora, Haval H6, Camry, which are evergreens in the car world.

Brands with a high total number of complaints are basically in line with sales/ownership in recent years, including Volkswagen, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Great Wall, Buick, Chery, Hyundai and Audi.
The complaint rate, which is linked to 2021 sales, has affected models with higher ownership but low sales this year, such as Hyundai, Skoda, Mazda, Ford and Trumpchi.
The complaint rate can also probably see the development fortune of car companies, Beijing Hyundai's cumulative sales of 320,000 vehicles, down 32.02% year-on-year, has long ceased to be the glory of 1.2 million vehicles.
In the case of Volkswagen's weakness, the Skoda brand, which has the title of "cheap Volkswagen", continued to act as a "drag bottle", and the delivery volume in the first three quarters fell by 57.8% year-on-year to only 52,700 units.
