The difference is that the new taurus tail is labeled "TRURUS", and perhaps only this is the difference in detail from the new generation of Mondeo.
In terms of side styling, the new car adopts a sneakback style, with the chrome strips along the upper edge of the window and the segmented design effectively increases the layering of the body side, but also makes the visual effect appear slender in size, there is no official news, but the length will exceed 5 meters, more slender than Mondeo, and the sense of strength is stronger.
Based on the interior, the shape of the new-generation Taurus center console is similar to that of the domestic Mondeo entry-level model, and it is not equipped with a large one-piece screen that runs through the center console, but adopts a relatively small 8-inch LCD dashboard + 13.2-inch central control screen. At the same time, the new generation of Taurus interior uses black and white two-color combination, and is equipped with in-car mood lights, mobile phone interconnection, adaptive cruise, knob gear shift mechanism and so on.
In line with Mondeo, the new Taurus powertrain is also equipped with a 2.0T engine. Referring to the new generation of Mondeo on sale in China, the maximum power of the 2.0T engine is 175 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 376 Nm. The drivetrain is mated to an 8-speed automatic or 8-speed automatic manual transmission.
