The increase in sales in the small car market in the first quarter of this year mainly came from two independent brand new energy cars - BYD Dolphin and Euler Good Cat, which sold a total of 49,128 vehicles, an increase of 35,399 units over the same period last year. Among them, BYD Dolphin is the champion of small car sales, with a cumulative sales volume of 29,668 vehicles in the first quarter.
Euler Good Cats sold 19,460 vehicles, ranking second, an increase of 13,729 vehicles over the same period last year. Euler Good Cat adopts a classic retro exterior design, the guide price is 127,900-15.79 million, and the comprehensive mileage is 401-501 kilometers, which is deeply loved by young female friends.
In addition to the year-on-year increase in sales of new Fit and Volkswagen Polo, the sales of traditional fuel small cars are mostly not as good as in the same period last year. Among them, Toyota Zhixuan has accumulated sales of 16,738 vehicles, ranking third in the sales list of small cars, 8,048 units less than the same period last year.
Also from Toyota, Vios FS and Zhixiang sales also declined, of which Vios sold 9375 vehicles, down 21.4% year-on-year; Vios FS sales of 3094 units, down 34.8% year-on-year; Zhixiang sales of only 1195 vehicles, down 69.7% year-on-year.
Due to the low sales base in the same period last year, Honda's new Fit and Volkswagen Polo sales increased year-on-year. Among them, the new Fit sold 15,960 vehicles, ranking fourth, an increase of 4,107 units year-on-year; Volkswagen Polo's cumulative sales of 10,459 vehicles, ranking sixth, an increase of 6,659 units over the same period last year.
The cumulative sales of Kia Huanchi and Hyundai Yuena of Korean small cars were 7425 and 1203 units respectively, and the overall sales were not as good as the same period last year.
