Nezha and Zerorun can be called the dark horses of new forces, why are their sales good? It is inseparable from two cars, one is Nezha V and the other is Zerorun T03. Both have a commonality, they are almost 5-100,000 yuan in the range, the only reliable electric vehicles left.

Compared with cheaper micro electric vehicles, this range can be called the vacuum belt of big brands. Previously, the more representative model was the Ora Black Cat, but it was discontinued for a long time. However, in the new year, the two major devils of BYD and Wuling are targeting here.

BYD Seagull

BYD Seagull has been popular since it exposed spy photos. After all, BYD, which has topped the Chinese auto market, can now be said to be a car fire. In particular, the BYD marine series, starting from dolphins and seals, has become the focus of the market.

The seagull that finally unveiled the mystery, I don't know if the appearance has surprised everyone? In the level of generally taking a rounded and cute route, BYD seagulls reveal a sense of sharpness everywhere. Based on the pure electric platform, although it is petite, it looks good at the space.

The length of the Seagull has been shortened from 4070mm to 3780mm of the Dolphin, and the wheelbase is 2500mm, and the width and height are also one size smaller than that of the Dolphin. Such a size corresponds to typical models of this class such as the Ora Black Cat.

The interior of the Seagull was also exposed on the Internet these two days, and the overall layout maintained the consistent BYD style. The vehicle in the spy photo adopts a dark and light color scheme, and the details look much simpler than previous BYD models.

According to the declaration information, BYD Seagull will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 55 kilowatts. The battery pack is a blade battery of lithium iron phosphate, and the endurance has not yet been announced. Referring to other opponents in the same class, the low range should be about 300km, and the high end can reach 400km.

The appearance of BYD seagulls is likely to be a new flashpoint this year. After all, the discontinued Euler black cat can't stand the temptation to resume production. In terms of pricing, it may also be possible to compare with black cats, covering the range of 80,000 to 100,000. The appearance of this car should not be good news for Nezha and Zerorun.

Coincidentally, Wuling also announced the binguo in the first announcement of the new year. Compared with the sharp painting style of the seagull, the Wuling binguo is expected to be rounded.

At the same time as the appearance in the announcement, Wuling also generously announced the official picture of the model and officially announced some basic information. In terms of body size, the Wuling Binguo is 3950mm long, 1708mm wide, 1580mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2560mm, which is slightly larger than the Seagull.

At the same time, on the personal Weibo of the product manager of Wuling Binguo, he also confided more information about this car:

Binguo will be available later in the first quarter, with a price of around 70,000-100,000 yuan, which may be slightly cheaper than Seagull. There are two versions of the range listed, 203km and 333km. According to this product manager, battery life is not achieved by large batteries, but by excellent power management.

On Weibo, some people also broke some spy photos of the new car, showing that there are two versions of the new car interior. The low-end version adopts an LCD instrument similar to the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV, and the high-end model will have a larger dual screen.

Wuling has proven its product capabilities in the field of electric vehicles through a variety of mini vehicles. The Wuling Binguo released this time is an upward attempt for Wuling. Compared with seagulls, binguo is a more direct threat to the revived Euler Black Cat, Nezha and Zero Run.

Volkswagen Lavida XR

SAIC Volkswagen suddenly announced a new sedan product and named it Lavida XR. The Lavida XR has a length, width and height of 4561mm, 1740mm, and 1494mm, respectively, and a wheelbase of 2651mm.

Is this model a new special car for the Chinese market? If you take a closer look, it seems that this is not the case. There is already a Volkswagen sedan called Virtus in the overseas market, which is highly similar to the Lavida XR. The main difference from the Virtus is that the Lavida XR has a younger front design.

The Virtus is not a global model, and has previously been mainly sold in markets such as India and South America. In this marginal market, there are no relatively exquisite models such as Lavida, Bora, and Sagitar.

From the positioning point of view, the domestic Lavida XR is slightly lower than Lavida and slightly higher than Santana. It may become a replacement for Santana after the discontinuation, and continue to form a high-, medium- and low-grade A-class car product line with Lavida and Lingdu.

The Timberline can be seen as a special version of the explorer's enhanced off-road character, so the exterior features some styling elements that are popular for hardcore off-road.
