The two major families of Corolla and Rongfang have become an important support for brand sales, of which Corolla has an annual sales of 330,000 vehicles, accounting for 38.4% of the brand's annual sales; the Rongfang family has annual sales of 203,400 vehicles, accounting for 23.66% of the brand's annual sales, and the product force is quite strong.
Although FAW Toyota launched heavy new cars such as Crown Land Amplifier, Corolla GR SPROT, Asia Lion, new Yize IZEOA, and Lingfang in 2021, its sales still failed to break through the previously set annual sales target of 920,000 vehicles, and finally ended in 2021 with a sales completion rate of 93.48%. Although FAW-Volkswagen has once again become the top sales volume of domestic car companies, its sales performance in 2021 has declined compared with previous years, with a year-on-year decline of 13.9%. It is also because of this that FAW-Volkswagen failed to meet the previously set annual sales target of 2.325 million vehicles, with a completion rate of less than 80%, which is a pity.
Great Wall Motors

In the matter of competing for "independent brother", Great Wall Motors has never conceded defeat, and the Haval H6, which has occupied the top of the SUV sales list for many years, is the best proof. Great Wall Motor sold 1280993 new vehicles in 2021, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year. Among them, the sales volume in overseas markets increased rapidly, up 103.7% year-on-year, reaching 142793 vehicles, accounting for 11.1% of the overall sales of car companies, and gradually became an important sector supporting the sales of Great Wall Motors.
The main sales pillar of Great Wall Motors is still played by the Haval brand, and its annual sales exceeded 770,000 vehicles, occupying a leading position in sales. Euler, tanks, and Great Wall pickup trucks have all increased by different margins, and together they have made efforts to promote the sales of Great Wall Motors. However, unfortunately, Great Wall Motors still failed to meet its annual sales target of 1.49 million units, only 85.9% of the annual sales target.
BYD

However, it is a little regrettable that BYD failed to achieve the annual sales target due to the failure of Sales in December to exceed the 100,000-vehicle mark, and only 97.35% of the sales target of 750,000 vehicles was achieved.
However, it is worth affirming that the proportion of BYD's new energy models has been greatly improved, helping the brand accelerate the progress of electrification transformation. In 2021, BYD sold a total of 593745 new energy models, a year-on-year surge of 231.6%, accounting for more than 80% of the brand's annual sales. However, there have been different growth in various fields, the Lynk & Co brand for the first time to achieve an annual sales of 600,000 vehicles, refreshing the record of the highest annual sales of the Lynk & Co brand; the annual sales of the new energy sector exceeded 100,000 vehicles, an increase of about 47%; and in the overseas market part, the brand export volume exceeded 110,000 vehicles in 2021, an increase of 58% year-on-year.
Unfortunately, the growth of many segments has not been able to achieve the annual sales target for Geely Automobile, and its sales completion rate in 2021 is only 86.80%.
SAIC passenger cars

SAIC Passenger Vehicles hit a record high in sales in 2021, breaking through the 800,000-unit mark for the first time, an increase of 22% year-on-year, and achieving a breakthrough of 100,000 units for three consecutive months. Among them, the sales volume of the new energy sector is quite prominent, with sales reaching 161,000 vehicles in 2021, an increase of 107% year-on-year. In terms of overseas markets, SAIC Motor's total exports of passenger cars in 2021 reached 290,000 units, an increase of 68% year-on-year, and continued to rank first in China's single-brand overseas sales, and the overall performance was quite good.
Judging from the above-mentioned annual sales completion, the achievements of various car companies can be described as mixed, there are car companies that have exceeded the quota, there are also car companies that have failed to achieve the goal, and the factors are also diverse, brand planning, product competitiveness, marketing strategies, etc., are an important part of the sales. However, for car companies that have not reached the annual sales target, objective factors such as the epidemic and chip shortage are the main development resistances, and I hope that in the next year, these problems can be solved.
