Uncle Man was born in 1959, the ninth among ten brothers and sisters, his peers call him "Old Nine", we call him "Uncle Nine", and the children are honored as "Nine Masters"!
Uncle Nine has been smart since he was a child and learns everything quickly!
There is a story of his childhood as a child:
During the busy season of autumn harvest farming, the adults all went out to work. When I was busy, I heard a "melodious" erhu solo coming from behind the grass pile...
The adults who are working hard are very surprised: at this time, there are still people who are slacking off and dare to entertain themselves?
Later, a bare-ass little guy was brought out of the haystack: three or five years old, he could play decent music by memory...
Uncle Nine has thick eyebrows, big eyes, and is particularly upright!
It is always described by people: Guo Jianguang, who plays Sha Jiabang, does not need makeup! In that special era, this is a good face for the positive characters of the model play!
Therefore, with his ingenuity and innate literary and artistic cells, Uncle Jiu studied all the way to high school and played the sunshine warrior for several years!
Accustomed to playing heroic warriors, coupled with the fact that the family is really poor, enlisting in the army and becoming a soldier has become inevitable!
Uncle Jiu was a scout in the Vietnamese self-defense counterattack war, belonged to the artillery unit (later stationed in Shaoguan Nanxiong), and was supposed to be surrounded when he crossed the Sino-Vietnamese border to carry out reconnaissance missions before the general counteroffensive. The reconnaissance section chief and most of the soldiers who went with them during the breakout were killed in the battle! My uncle was hit by more than a dozen gunshot wounds, four of which were penetrating wounds. After living in the hospital for more than a year, he recovered a life, and there are still shrapnel left on his body in some places.
He was the first wounded soldier to wake up, surrounded by many unit leaders in front of the hospital bed. The first thing he said when he woke up was, "Are the comrades all right?"
Later, he stayed in the army for several years, was promoted to company instructor, and returned to his hometown with a certificate of injury and disability.
With a ardent and sincere heart for the party and the country, Uncle Jiu has worked in the tax unit all his life!
It has been a few years since retirement!
Although he has been plagued by injuries and illnesses all his life, his life is good and leisurely! He always remembered the comrades who went to the battlefield together but never returned... In recent years, after idling down, I miss it more intensely!
Occasionally, I will go to the place where I fought to remember and pay tribute!
The following pictures are taken from Uncle Jiu's photos and videos. This is the scene where he and his comrades returned to the place where they fought in those years to shoot a micro-film, the first few are the scenes of them returning to Longzhou, Guangxi on the border between China and Vietnam and worshiping the martyrs' cemetery, and the back is the scene of the micro-film shooting.
He said in his family group: "This cemetery is so majestic, just like the phalanx of red flags when he went out on the expedition!" It is very sad for me to return here today, when seventeen young men in their teens and twenties were buried in this cemetery in the company together, and some of them were just their crown tombs."
"I was lucky that today I found their tombstones. They spent time with me day and night, but they always lay on this side, and they often thought of them and never forgot."
