The Xi'an Ming City Wall has been preserved intact to this day, because of its integrity and retention time, so the surrounding areas of the Ming City Wall are very complete supporting facilities.

We started walking with the south gate, Yongning Gate is the south gate of Xi'an, Xi'an city wall has its own main gate on all four walls, east, west, south and north, Changle Gate in the east, Anyuan Gate in the north, and Anding Gate in the west.

Yongning Gate: This is the main gate of Xi'an City, and there has always been a welcome gift as a ceremony to enter the city. There are Baoqing Temple Pagoda, Guanzhong Academy, Kuixing Pavilion, And Shuyuanmen Pedestrian Street in the city, and these historical sites have their own stories behind them.

The skp mall outside the south gate is actually the Tang Dynasty's Wubenfang, but also the location of the Tang Dynasty Guozijian, because there is a Kaicheng Stone Classic, so there is the Confucius Temple of Wenchangmen, which later developed into the Forest of Steles Museum, and the Sanxue Block with the context as the core.

WenchangMen: Here is the Xiama Tomb that everyone in Xi'an knows, but Dong Zhongshu's tomb is fake, and interested friends can search for information by themselves.

Peace Gate: In the Ring City Park outside the city gate, there is a sculpture of the Erhu Shou Chang'an, which records the heroic deeds of Yang Hucheng and Li Huchen, the two generals, who guarded Xi'an.

In the southeast corner of the city, you can clearly feel the undulating terrain, which is a high point in the entire Xi'an urban area, and the undulating terrain of Xi'an actually has a reason.

Changle Gate: There is a Guanyue Temple that has never been opened, and the bland temple actually preserves many Ming Dynasty murals, so many old Xi'an people do not know about such hidden Easter eggs.

Zhongshan Gate: The name is related to Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who built a city gate to commemorate him, but the general who presided over the construction of this gate has a deeper relationship with Xi'an.

As a master of Xi'an folk snacks, Yongxingfang is highly recommended for local and foreign friends to eat. Here the business management quality control is very strict, food homogenization is not serious, almost including the special snacks in the Guanzhong area, if you want to eat a little more authentic Guanzhong cuisine, and do not want to run far, Yongxingfang is the best choice.

Hearing xxfang in Xi'an should be vigilant, because it may be the xxfang of the Tang Dynasty. Wei Zheng, the famous minister of the Tang Dynasty, lived in Yongxingfang, and this courtier probably never thought that more than a thousand years had passed, and his home had become a snack street that the people liked to hear!

Chaoyang Gate: Appeared as an air raid shelter during the war, and then a city gate was finally opened to facilitate transportation. One of the fiercest wars in Xi'an also took place here, and many bullet holes were left in the walls.

Northeast City Corner: It is not an exaggeration to describe it as empty, it seems to have become a forgotten corner of Xi'an City, why is this? Due to the development of real estate developers here, the entire real estate is taking a high-end route, which can be seen from the name of "Imperial City Square".

ShangqinMen, Shangjianmen, Jiefangmen, and Shangdemen: The four gates are closely connected because of the railway station. Some of them become the turntable of the railway station, and some become the entrance and exit of the railway station. However, the construction time of these city gates is very late, and some of them are even built after 2000 ~ so in the walls of the railway station, there are not only convenience stores, but also Internet cafes that can access the Internet.

The names of these city gates are easily reminiscent of the "virtue of thrift and thrift", and these calls for virtue originated from a national movement in the Republic of China.

There is a place near Shangdemen called "Seven Sages Village", which was once a bungalow built by capitalists in the Republic of China period, and one day a mysterious guest came, rented one of them, and became the eighth route army office in Shaanxi, making outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of our party.

Anyuan Gate: This is the north gate of the city wall, also habitually called the North Gate by the Xi'an people, and it is also the middle section of the palace wall where the Taiji Palace and the East Palace of Tang Chang'an City meet, and this section of the road hides an important landmark to find the boundary of the Tang Dynasty Taiji Palace.

Shangwumen: The origin of this name is related to Mancheng, and also related to the Eight Flags Teaching Field of the Qing Dynasty, in fact, Xi'an has preserved many traces of the Qing Dynasty. But because the Tang Dynasty is too dazzling, sometimes we may overlook the Qing Dynasty and the modern Xi'an City, and the northern part of the city wall is full of modern Xi'an history.

Northwest City Corner: There is a Shaanxi restaurant called True Love.

Yuxiang Gate: This city gate is the second city gate cave we have encountered with a person named after a person. This name comes from the famous military general Feng Yuxiang of the Republic of China, in the context of the Northern Expedition, Xi'an City was besieged, although there were two generals Yang Hucheng and Li Huchen, but Xi'an City was still in danger.

Finally, a general was ushered in, and his arrival solved the military dilemma in Xi'an and saved the lives of ordinary Xi'an people. In order to thank him for his help to Xi'an City, the people of Xi'an specially opened a city gate named after him, so there is now yuxiang gate.

Anding Gate (West Gate): This is the main gate of the western section of the city wall, also known as the West Gate. The environment of the Ring West Garden outside the city is very beautiful, the overall greening is very good, and there are many hidden excellent local dining, which is a good place for everyone to relax and entertain. The old airport outside the West Gate has witnessed the end of the Xi'an Incident, and now the west side is often forgotten, but there are a large number of traces of Xi'an City in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the buildings are very old, which is very worth visiting.

Southwest City Corner: The round southwest city foot has been misinterpreted as a Tang Dynasty building, but it is not. This is a proper Yuan Dynasty building, and even at the beginning of this century there are some yurts here...

Hanguang Gate: This is the real city gate cave of the Tang Dynasty, and there is also a museum of Hanguangmen ruins inside the city wall.

Beimumen (Xiaonanmen): Here are stacked a large number of independent literary and art shops, hot pot shops, barbecue shops, gourd head steamed buns in Xi'an; the Small South Gate morning market is full of fireworks, peppery soup, oil tea, tofu brain, beef cake, can not stop at all; at night, the small south gate is full of bars, singing folk songs, drinking craft beer, listening to jazz, everything. It can be said that the day and night of the little south gate are equally wonderful.

With the small south gate as the core, there are a large number of restaurants in Shuncheng Lane to the east, and almost every one of them will not step on the thunder. Pass through Shuncheng Lane and enter Dachejia Lane, where there is not only a very classic Xi'an cuisine, but also an extremely mysterious Red Fist Hall...
