After returning to China, he served in the Ministry of Finance.
Xiao Man's family is well-off, intelligent since childhood, has attended church school, and is proficient in piano, chess, calligraphy, painting, foreign languages, and dancing. Lu Xiaoman is talented and beautiful, and his name is full of capital. It is said that if there is no Lu Xiaoman attending the dance party of high society, the guests will feel bored.

Such a famous sister of Jinghua, who came to mention the relatives, broke through the threshold. But in the end, it was a soldier Wang Geng who hugged the beauty. This man is absolutely worthy of Lu Xiaoman. His resume is impeccable:
Born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, he was born into a family of eunuchs. He was admitted to tsinghua university's preparatory class in the United States, studied philosophy at Princeton University, and later went to West Point to specialize in military affairs, and was a classmate of former US President Eisenhower. It can be described as both literary and martial. In 1918, he returned to China to serve in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and taught at Peking University. In 1919, the Paris Peace Conference was held by Chinese delegates.
It takes less than a month from the time of marriage to the marriage. In 1922, 19-year-old Lu Xiaoman married 28-year-old Wang Geng. The wedding sensation in Beijing, the guests attending the wedding are either rich or expensive, Cao Rulin, Zhang Zongxiang and other government officials attended, and the number of guests reached more than 3,000.

Wang Geng, an all-rounder in literature and martial arts, is a doer with a regular life, monday to Saturday morning is working time, Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon is entertainment time. But for Xiao Man, such a life is rigid and boring.
It just so happened that Xu Zhimo was under Liang Qichao's door, and Wang Geng was also a disciple of Liang Men, so Shima met Wang Geng and became friends. In 1924, Tagore visited China and the two became friends.
Wang Geng often holds a scroll in his hand to do research, and he is very interested in amusement. And Shima often invited Xiao Man and his wife, Wang Geng knew that Xiao Man was naturally messy, so he let Shima accompany him to play. The appearance of Xu Zhimo stirred up ripples in Xiao Man's heart.

In the Spring Festival of 1925, Wang Geng learned that Shima and Xiao Man were in love and did not allow the two to communicate. It was at this time that Xu Zhimo went to Europe, and his 3-year-old youngest son, Desheng, was about to die of illness.
After Shima left, Wang Geng was sent to Nanjing to perform military duties. At this time, Lu Xiaoman was ill, and Wang Geng also entrusted Hu Shi to take care of him. In terms of feelings, Hu Shi is not a person worthy of trust, he himself has extramarital affairs, and is Xu Zhimo's best friend in China, how can he take good care of Lu Xiaoman for Wang Geng?
In September 1925, Wang Geng and Lu Xiaoman divorced. After that, Xu Zhimo left Zhang Youyi, who had just lost his wanderer, and hurried back to China, only to achieve positive results with Lu Xiaoman.

In October 1926, Shima and Xiao man married in Beihai Park in Beijing. The two completely disregarded people's common feelings and even invited Zhang Youyi and Wang Geng to be among the invitees. It's just that Zhang Youyi and Wang Geng did not attend the wedding.

Xu Zhimo was his beloved disciple, and he publicly reprimanded Xu Zhimo for divorcing and remarrying, using unspeciality and bad influence: "Xu Zhimo, you are an impetuous person, so you have no achievements in learning. Before he could finish speaking, Xu Zhimo interrupted him and said, "Please don't go on with the teacher, Gu Quan disciple a little face." Mr. Liang Qichao added, "I hope this is the last time you will get married." ”

After marriage, Xu Zhimo and Lu Xiaoman never lived a family life. Xu Zhimo taught in Beijing, while Lu Xiaoman insisted on staying in Shanghai. Xu Zhimo shuttled between Beijing and Shanghai, and used all the money he earned to provide for Lu Xiaoman.
A few months after the marriage, Lu Xiaoman made a boyfriend Weng Ruiwu and invited Mr. Weng to his home. For the new boyfriend, Xu Zhimo didn't mind at all. Xiao Man and Weng Rui lay on the smoke bed together smoking opium together, and Xu Zhimo curled up next to Lu Xiaoman.
Weng Ruiwu is also a bit of a head, his father is a former Qing governor, or a famous collector of calligraphy and paintings, Mr. Weng inherited the ancestral property, the assets are not cheap. It was under the introduction of Weng Ruiwu that Lu Xiaoman slowly became addicted to smoking.

In the early morning of November 19, 1931, Xu Zhimo took a plane to Beijing to attend an architectural art lecture taught by Lin Huiyin, and was killed in a plane crash. Xu Zhimo divorced Youyi for Lin Huiyin, and now he is killed because he went to listen to a speech by Lin Huiyin, lin Huiyin is really the person he loves but can't get!

Fourth, Wang Geng is affectionate, and Young Yi is affectionate
Weng Ruiwu has a family, and Lu Xiaoman agreed with him that he would only live together and not get married. Perhaps Xiao Man is considering that Weng Ruiwu's wife is an old-fashioned woman, and once abandoned, she will lose her financial resources and find it difficult to live. In this way, they have maintained a cohabitation relationship. Weng Ruiwu was affectionate with Lu Xiaoman, selling almost all his belongings to provide for her, and taking good care of her in life. Just in the three years of difficult times, materials are scarce, weng Ruiwu is also older, but still do his best to arrange Xiao Man's life.
Little Man is charming and affectionate, and after Shima's death, many men expressed their admiration for her. Her ex-husband Wang Geng wanted to remarry, but Xiao Man refused. Long before Xu Zhimo, Hu Shi knew Lu Xiaoman and fell in love with her in his heart, saying that she was "a must-see scenery in Beijing.". Lu Xiaoman and Wang Geng once had a commemorative book with inscriptions from various celebrities, and Hu Shi inscribed a poem by the poet Cur mo: "If Tiangong returns Qing and me, we should break this confused world together, and then forge and refine and reconcile, so that we can reform the world according to your and my arrangements." The poem is preceded by the phrase "Love." This is very much in line with Hu Shi's personality, with no heart and no courage. He has always had a crush on Xiao Man, and after Shima's death, he intends to arrange the rest of Xiao Man's life, but she seems to refuse.

In 1961, Weng Ruiwu died. Zhang Youyi consciously shouldered the responsibility of providing for Lu Xiaoman, and she felt that Lu Xiaoman was the stepmother of her son, and it was the responsibility of her son to provide for her stepmother. Zhang Youyi has no hostility towards Lu Xiaoman, because Shima only fell in love with Lu Xiaoman after divorcing her.

The Buddhist family has seven sufferings: birth, old age, sickness, death, resentment, love and separation, and unavoidable. For Zhang Youyi, Shima was deeply troubled by the "resentment and hatred society"; for Lin Huiyin, he drank the bitter wine of "unattainable"; and Lu Xiaoman, the closest to the love marriage he pursued, was born in the north and south, and after death, the yin and yang were separated, but it was in response to the so-called "love and separation" suffering of the Buddhist family. Lu Xiaoman's mother once commented on Xu Lu's marriage: "Shima harmed Xiao Man, and Xiao Man also harmed Shima. The two are mutually causal.
