The ambiguous relationship between Lu Xiaoman and Hu Shi also reveals in the later 6 letters that the two once had a relationship: "I still hate you sometimes, although I love me but can't forgive my bitterness, and punish me like outsiders..."
In addition, after Xu Zhimo's death, Lu Xiaoman and Weng Ruiwu lived together, and Hu Shi strongly opposed it, writing to ask her to break off diplomatic relations with Weng and be willing to bear her living expenses.

Weng Ruiwu is Lu Xiaoman's fourth man, his family is the best, but he is the most bitter.
Weng Ruiwu's father was the famous painter Weng Shouqi, who served as the prefect of Guilin, Guangxi, and was also a protégé of Weng Tonggong, and the family had many famous paintings and antiques.
Weng Ruiwu is good at calligraphy and painting poetry, learning calligraphy and painting with Uncle Zhao, and can sing Beijing opera Kunqu opera, which is deeply appreciated by Mei Lanfang. He also studied traditional Chinese medicine tuina with Ding Fengshan, and was quite famous at the age of 18.

Although Lu Xiaoman is already a professional painter at the Shanghai Academy of Chinese Painting, he makes a living by selling paintings, and his life is very difficult.
Weng Ruiwu died in 1960 at the age of 61.
Before Leaving, Weng Ruiwu entrusted his eldest daughter Weng Xiangguang to take care of Lu Xiaoman until Lu Xiaoman's death in 1965.
Weng Ruiwu had a last wish before his death, that is, he wanted to be buried with Lu Xiaoman. However, Lu Xiaoman's last wish was to be buried with Xu Zhimo. Because she has "only feelings and no love" for Weng Ruiwu, she only loves Xu Zhimo.
Therefore, later some people commented: "Modern youth think that Xu Zhimo is a love saint, but in fact, I think it is easy to do Xu Zhimo and weng Ruiwu is difficult." ”
Among these four men, the most tragic was Lu Xiaoman's first man, Wang Geng.
Wang Geng was a young talent, and Xu Zhimo and Hu Shi were both disciples of Liang Qichao and good friends.
He graduated from Tsinghua University at the age of 16 and graduated from Princeton University in the United States at the age of 20 to enter the United States Military Academy. Graduated in 10th place in the school, and was a classmate of General Eisenhower, the president of American history.
After returning to China, Wang Geng became the star of hope in China at that time.

Lu Xiaoman proposed a divorce to Wang Geng, and what made Wang Geng most desperate was that Lu Xiaoman had made up his mind and beat up their children.
Wang Geng truly loved Lu Xiaoman, and in the end he could only let go and fulfill Xu Zhimo and Lu Xiaoman.
