Huang Jun is a well-known figure painter and art educator. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he successively served as a lecturer, associate professor, and professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is also a member of the Chinese Artists Association, the president of the Beijing Ancient Capital Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, the vice president of the Beijing Gongbi Chongcai Painting Association, the consultant of the Zhongshan Painting and Calligraphy Society, the consultant of the Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Society, and the consultant of the Calligraphy and Painting Research Association of the China Port Association.

Looking at Huang Jun's works of fine brushwork and heavy color figures, you will discover the importance of traditional techniques. This traditional technique has a long history, dating back to the Qin and Han dynasties, and reached its peak in the Tang and Song dynasties. However, in the Yuan Dynasty, the rise of literati painting led to the gradual decline of gongbi heavy color painting. Despite this, this excellent traditional painting still leaves behind many immortal works that shine brightly.

The three brothers, Wang Hongde, Wang Hongzheng and Wang Hongchao, are from Cangzhou, Hebei Province, and are all young painters of fine brushwork and heavy color. They first studied in Huang Jun's early book "Research on Ladies' Paintings", and studied a large number of famous paintings of past dynasties, laying a solid foundation. Since '93, they have been studying painting with Huang Jun for more than ten years. During this period, they often had long talks, exchanged ideas, and enjoyed themselves.

I was deeply impressed by the three brothers' hard work, obedience to the teachings, and modest and unassuming attitudes. I'm glad that there is a lot of solidarity between them, which is rare. For more than ten years, they have achieved remarkable results, and new works are continuous. I was both ashamed and happy to see their work. It is a shame that there are too few people who can pass on their knowledge to them, and they are glad that there are successors of Gongbi and heavy color paintings.

Hong De first studied figure painting, and later devoted himself to the creation of flower and bird paintings. The solid foundation he laid in figure painting makes his flower and bird paintings more pure, refined and intriguing. He attaches great importance to seeking materials in life, and goes deep into the countryside to carefully carve every grass and tree in the field, meticulously. Whenever you look at his paintings, you will feel like you are there. His "Pear Blossom Sparrow Picture" is very vivid and elegant, and the sparrows in the picture are lifelike and ready to come out, which shows that he has put a lot of effort into sketching.

Looking at "Morning Dew" again, this painting is dyed with a misty mist at the top of a pool of residual lotus, and the void and reality correspond. This is also the embodiment of his innovation in heavy color painting techniques.

In addition, Hong Zheng and Hong Chao mainly focus on figure painting, and also paint landscapes, flowers and birds. This makes the backdrop of their figure paintings richer and more harmonious. Hong Zheng's "Yi Shui Han" depicts the tragic scene of Prince Yan Dan sending Jing Ke "the wind is sluggish and the water is cold, and the strong man is gone and will never return", which makes people feel the hero's awe-inspiring spirit of righteousness and death. The "Luo Shen Tu" vividly expresses the scene of Cao Zhi's Luo Shen Fu, "Tengwen fish to surprise the ride, Ming Yuluan to pass away" and "six dragons are the same head, carrying the cloud car to descend", reflecting the depth of the author's literary accomplishment.
