The following watercolor landscape painting is truly remarkable! I was amazed by the work of Michael Reardon, a contemporary watercolorist from California, USA. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in architecture and later worked as an architectural illustrator for over 30 years.

My favorite of this group of works is this one, it's really amazing from the angle. I found that most of his landscapes were viewed from a top-down or upward-looking perspective, with a sense of openness and a sense of relaxation, while looking up made the building appear tall and involuntarily admirable. In this painting, we look down the road, looking down, then looking up at the tall buildings. This wonderful choice of angle made me feel just the right amount of comfort.

Unlike yesterday's bright oil paintings, today we will take a look at the less saturated watercolors and feel their unique flavors. I still really like the hazy feel of watercolor, and it's a good way to depict angular buildings.
