The event site is set up on the surface of the Lake Ofo of Shangdu Lake, which is more than 4 million square meters, and of course, only in the completely frozen lake can such a vast and flat natural testing ground be obtained. The purpose of this event is not only to test the limits of each model on the ice, but also to verify whether Toyota's hybrid system can withstand the test of extreme cold, and whether the advanced and complex system can work properly in the ice and snow close to minus 30 degrees.
Of course, the most interesting thing is that this event reproduced four top tracks abroad on the ice to better display the performance of the vehicle, and also planned a complex cross-country crossing route of nearly 20km for the Rongfang RAV4, verifying the strength of its E-FOUR electronic four-wheel drive system.

The first test drive is the four-wheel drive version of the Crown Lufang, as the flagship of the brand on sale, the Crown Lufang is equipped with a 2.5L hybrid system, of which the maximum power of the engine is 192 hp, the peak torque is 238 Nm, the maximum power of the front motor is 134 kW, the maximum power of the rear motor is 40 kW, and the comprehensive power of the system can reach 249 hp, matching the E-CVT transmission.
In the face of this big block of more than 5 meters, at first I was a little unable to let go, but after the first bend, the nail tire embedded with 350 nails gave me a lot of confidence, coupled with the help of the E-FOUR electronic four-wheel drive system, the entire body posture is very controllable, as long as it is not rebranded in the bend, basically there will be no too outrageous slippage. However, perhaps I was inexperienced, ran two or three laps, and still could not put the crown land through the curve smoothly with a drifting action, which was a little regrettable.

For a small track like Tsukuba, Japan, it is very suitable to position a small SUV. This dual-engine version of the Yize is equipped with a 2.0L hybrid system, of which the maximum power of the engine is 146 horsepower, and the comprehensive power of the system is 183 horsepower, so the power level is just enough on the ice and snow road.
After all, with the experience of driving the Crown Land Release in the first few laps, after a little skill, the steering wheel and brake throttle movements began to gradually become arrogant, and Yi Ze's small and agile body was also easier to control. With the lights of the body stabilization system constantly flashing, the short and compact Yize became more and more lively in my hands, even if it was a front-drive, Yize could still make a rather gorgeous tail flicking action on the ice.
#亚洲龙/Asiatic Lion – Fuji Circuit, Japan
Bidding farewell to Yi Ze, the eyes turned to the Fuji circuit next door, waiting for us are two sedans , the Asian Dragon and the Asiatic Lion, the former equipped with a 2.5L hybrid system, the system combined with 218 horsepower, matching the E-CVT transmission; the latter equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, the maximum power of 171 horsepower, matching the 10-speed CVT transmission that can simulate 10 speeds.
The Fuji track is characterized by a long straight, so the Asian Dragon's sufficient power is well released here, but probably due to the large body, when entering the corner, it is obvious that the Asian Dragon is understeered, the push head is somewhat serious, coupled with my lack of technology, I have pushed the car straight out of the track many times. Of course, the experience of rushing out of the snow wall several times has made this test drive more thrilling and exciting.
In contrast, I feel that the slightly smaller Asiatic lions are more able to show their fun on this track, at least in my hands. The Asian lion's head into the corner is very sharp, the tail can also quickly keep up, but also does not appear to oversteer, so slowly learned the "throw the tail into the bend" of the dashing action.
#凌放 – Silverstone, UK
Finally, we are waiting for our lingfang at the Silverstone circuit, which is also equipped with a 2.5L hybrid system and a dual-motor four-wheel drive structure, with a comprehensive maximum power of 222 horsepower, which is slightly lower than the crown land amplifier.
Because there are more high-speed bends on the track, the overall speed of the lingfang can also be raised faster, even if the power adjustment is slightly inferior to the crown land release, but it is strong enough for the lingfang, which is much lighter. After more and more practice, before bending, rebranding, slamming the steering wheel, finding the right time to immediately hit the direction, the whole action is completed in one go, as long as the front of the car aims out of the bending direction, the vehicle can slide through the corner with an elegant posture.
After a few laps, I tried to turn off the body stabilization system, but I regretted it when I flipped the steering wheel at the first bend, and the slightest turn of the rear of the car produced an extremely flexible swing, and it was completely uncontrollable. Especially in the high-speed bend, it is out of control to the point that despite repeated rescues, the body still has a constant swaying action until it is completely stable. It also made me feel for the first time the importance of body stability systems for vehicle safety.
In addition, on the day of the event, FAW Toyota Yize 2.0L dual engine Yixing version was officially listed, and the price of 169,800 yuan lowered the threshold of Yize dual engine version model. The appearance of the new car is consistent with the model on sale, mainly in terms of configuration adjustments, and the power is still equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine + electric motor, and the system has a comprehensive maximum power of 135kW.
