Overall, the sales volume of the new Hongqi brand in 2021 exceeded 300,000 vehicles, an increase of more than 50% year-on-year, the growth rate was 10 times higher than the industry average, and the sales volume increased by 63 times in 4 years.

Specifically, official data show that the two flagship models of the new Faw-hongqi product matrix, the Faw-hongqi H9 and the Faw-hongqi E-HS9, have achieved annual sales of more than 40,000 and 5,400 vehicles respectively. Moreover, as of December 24, the number of owners of the new Hongqi brand officially exceeded 600,000.

At this year's Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, New Hongqi announced the renewal and upgrade of its most important flagship products, H9 and E-HS9. Among them, the 2022 Hongqi H9 has launched a total of 5 models, achieving as many as 23 new upgrades. In addition, in the next 5 years, the brand will launch 20 new products covering the entire series of L series, S series, H series and Q series on the basis of the existing 8 products.
It is worth mentioning that just this month, FAW Hongqi Japan Experience Store opened in Osaka to further explore overseas markets, the main sales model is Hongqi H9, and will sell pure electric SUV models in Japan in the summer of 2022.
