Children live by play

This is the first long-term case study on child psychology in China.

Chen Heqin, known as the "father of modern children's education in China", became a father for the first time. Having just returned from studying pedagogy and psychology at Columbia University, he used the "tide" method at that time to take 86 photos of the newborn eldest son, and recorded the child's physical, movement, language, and psychological development day by day. In this way, the growth process of a child from infancy to toddler to child is shown.

The book focuses on children's psychoeducation in an all-round way, and explores the characteristics of children's psychological development in stages. This book is also known as "the founding work of Chinese child psychology research".
