Set up consultation desks in supermarkets to popularize dietary nutrition knowledge to the public. At the event site, food and nutrition science publicity boards were placed, and the staff patiently explained the knowledge of dietary nutrition and health to customers, and distributed a variety of publicity leaflets such as a pagoda of balanced diet for Chinese residents, recipes for three meals a day, and obesity prevention. In order to let the public have a clear and intuitive understanding of their body mass index, the CDC designed and produced a large body mass index carousel, which can be turned to check the body mass index and determine whether they are overweight/obese.
Walk into the comprehensive practice base of primary and secondary schools
Carry out special training on food nutrition and health
In the comprehensive practice base of primary and secondary schools, special training on food safety and nutrition and health was organized, and more than 30 people, including school leaders, canteen employees, teachers and property personnel, explained in detail the prevention and control measures of common foodborne diseases, the guidelines for the construction of nutritional and healthy canteens, and the GB31654-2021 "General Hygiene Specifications for Catering Services" and other related content. Through this training and publicity, the relevant personnel further improved their awareness of food safety and nutrition and health, became familiar with the prevention and control measures of foodborne diseases related to campus and canteens, and clarified the detailed construction indicators of nutrition and health canteens and the general hygiene specifications of catering services.
In the next step, the Huangbohai New Area will continue to increase health intervention in key places such as supermarkets and schools, take nutrition and health demonstration supermarkets and demonstration schools as the starting point, and improve the level of public health literacy through a series of activities such as health counters, health consultations, and healthy dishes, and take the initiative to adopt a nutritious and healthy lifestyle.
