From May 12th to 16th, the "Belt and Road" National Food Safety and Health Seminar sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by the China Food and Fermentation Industry Research Institute visited our county to share the experience gained in food safety and health work in our county, show the achievements of our county in the development of agricultural industry, and jointly seek new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation.
In Tumen Town and Shuangsheng Town, the members of the seminar went deep into the sericulture and edible fungus industrial park, agricultural socialization service center, seedling raising center and pepper industrial park, and exchanged sericulture, edible fungus and pepper planting and breeding technology, market sales channels and agricultural socialized service system construction with the relevant person in charge, and everyone expressed their appreciation for the efforts and achievements of our county in agricultural modernization.
In Yilong Economic Development Zone, the seminar visited Guode Plastics, Sichuan Dechuan Auto Parts, Jiafeng Fashion, Sichuan Hakka Brothers Food, Zhongwei Food, Dexuan Agriculture and other enterprises, and learned in detail about the production process, product quality and market prospects of each enterprise, as well as the technology and process of deep processing of agricultural and sideline products in our county. In the county e-commerce industrial park, the members of the seminar learned how to effectively solve food safety in our county, as well as the experience and practices of difficult transportation and sales of agricultural products, and understood the role of e-commerce platforms in promoting the sales of agricultural products and promoting rural economic development. Through tasting the county's special food and on-site communication with the relevant person in charge, they learned about the achievements of our county's industrial development and actively looked for opportunities for economic and trade cooperation.
During the event, the students also came to the Memorial Hall of Comrade Zhu De's Former Residence, Zhang Side Memorial Hall, Paper-cutting Museum and other places to visit, listen to the special lecture of "Zhang Side Spirit", and understand the multiple social values of our county's red culture and intangible cultural heritage.
It is understood that the participants of the seminar came from 10 countries and regions, including Azerbaijan, Timor-Leste, Grenada, Kazakhstan and Laos, with a total of 37 people. The event will effectively promote the economic exchanges and cooperation between Yilong and the outside world, inject new vitality into the local economic development, and also provide a good opportunity for Yilong products to go to the world.
