On May 3, BYD Auto officially released its sales data for April, with a cumulative sales of 105475 new cars, an increase of 136.5% year-on-year.
This is the second consecutive month of BYD Automobile, with single-month sales exceeding 100,000 units.
Among them, the sales volume of pure electric vehicle models was 57,403 units, and the sales of plug-in hybrid models were 48,072 units.
After careful observation, it is not difficult to find that for a long time in the past, BYD's pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid models have basically sold equally much.
For example, in February this year, BYD's total sales were 90,268 vehicles, of which 43,173 were pure electric models and 44,300 plug-in hybrid models were sold.
By March, BYD's sales data for 104338 vehicles was 53,664 pure electric vehicles and 50,674 plug-in hybrid models.
According to the sales data of April, the sales of plug-in hybrid models and pure electric models are nearly 10,000 units.
Obviously, the proportion of SALES of BYD pure electric vehicle models has increased significantly, which is not unrelated to the hot sales of BYD's e-platform 3.0 pure electric models.
Specific model sales, two flagship models BYD Han and BYD Tang series, sales in April both exceeded 10,000 units: Han sales were 13,421 units, and the sales of pure electric models increased by 77.9% year-on-year; Tang sold 10,131 units, and the pure electric version of the model increased by 263.7% year-on-year.
Sales of BYD Qin and BYD Song models continued to grow at a high level, with sales of 23,520 units and 25,108 units, respectively.
These two cars are not only the sales responsibility of BYD Automobile, but also the top few customers of domestic car and SUV sales list.
Born on BYD's e-platform 3.0 BYD Dolphin, it sold 12,040 vehicles in April, an increase of 14.7% month-on-month.
Since its launch, the cumulative sales of BYD Dolphins have exceeded 70,000 vehicles.
In addition, bydir's April sales of yuan series models increased sharply year-on-year, an increase of 659.5%, and the cumulative sales reached 15,168 units.
There is no doubt that the surge in sales of BYD yuan in April is not unrelated to the yuan PLUS, which was also from BYD's e platform 3.0, which was listed recently.
The first car destroyer of the BYD Marine series, the 05, sold 2040 units in April, up 38.2% month-on-month.
Although other car companies have not yet announced the sales results for April, the car quick review forecast:
