BYD seal design manuscripts were exposed, and the slipback shape was more sporty and youthful

A few days ago, the design manuscript of BYD's new pure electric coupe model "Seal" was exposed. From the overall silhouette, the new car adopts the design concept of marine aesthetics, the shape is relatively low, and the back-to-back design is adopted, and the overall look is more sporty and youthful. This design is very similar to the concept car Ocean-X unveiled at the BYD e platform 3.0 conference last September, and the seal may be the mass production model of the Ocean-X concept car.

According to BYD's new car plan, in addition to the dolphins that were listed last year, BYD Ocean Network will also launch three models this year, namely seals, seagulls and sea lions, covering different levels. Seals may be the first to be listed, and it is expected in the first quarter of this year. In addition, as a pure electric sedan, seals may be positioned as benchmarks for the domestic Tesla Model 3. In addition, all models of the marine system are based on BYD's e platform 3.0, which means that SEAL will also be equipped with blade batteries, battery safety and charging efficiency will be improved.

At present, the dolphin, the first model of BYD's marine system, has a good market performance. According to the data, Dolphin was listed at the end of August last year, and in December and January this year, the sales volume has exceeded 10,000 for two consecutive months, temporarily ranking fourth in the domestic new energy car rankings, it can be said that Dolphin has made a better market start for the next marine model.
