On another North American track, the new BMW M5 CS is usually racing with the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Nissan GT-R, completing the competition with supercars.
At the same time when these super performance versions are constantly stacked, many people begin to remember the BMW 5 Series G30 currently sold in the market. The reason is that the current BMW 5 Series has become the only product in all BMW mass production cars that still uses traditional long kidneys instead of large-sized double kidneys.

Because BMW in the creation of the 5 series, the use of domestic long wheelbase, imported standard wheelbase combination sales form, and only in the domestic long wheelbase to provide luxury set decorative version, which makes BMW Brilliance 5 series can not only through the M sports suit or imported standard wheelbase version to attract young consumers, but also through the domestic luxury set long wheelbase version to compete with Mercedes-Benz E-class, Audi A6L business market. Of course, there is no convertible option like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class on the import side, nor the Avant and Allroad wagon options of the Audi A6, you can understand the BMW 5 Series as focusing on the sports sedan market, but it can also be said that it is a bit unenterprising.
But in the power part, or dynamic part, the BMW 5 Series, whether it is a domestic long wheelbase or an imported standard wheelbase, is indeed more interesting than the other two competitors from Germany.
On the engine, the turbocharged engine of the BMW B48 character head is not much different from the Mercedes-Benz M264 series and the Audi EA888 in the performance of the high-power version. If you have to be more serious, the BMW 530Li and the Mercedes-Benz E300L do have a fuller sustained release, and the advantage of the BMW 5 Series 185kW/350N·m 2.0T turbocharged engine is that it can start with the ZF 8AT, so that it can rush out of the zebra crossing in a 1/10 position lead and achieve a speed of 100km/h in 6.9 seconds. As for the Audi A6L, if it wants to participate in straight-line racing, it can only rely on the more expensive V6.
In the straight line into the cornering link, the advantages of the BMW 5 Series will be immediately displayed, the front narrow rear wide wheel combination is more suitable for the wheel control in and out of the bend, it does not have the air suspension of the Audi A6L, nor the variable steering ratio, but it is the smallest turning radius of the three models. Perhaps the biggest shortcoming of the BMW 5 Series in front of the other two BBA companies is the cabin, although it is replaced by a 12.3-inch floating touch screen and a more complete iDrive 7.0 infotainment system, but it is not as good as the Audi A6L in terms of UI design and actual technology functions.
In terms of seats, the entire series is only synthetic leather BMW 5 Series, whether in the fabric vision, or in the actual touch is not as good as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which will undoubtedly become a hard injury to this generation of BMW 5 Series domestic long wheelbase board.
