BMW X sales in January were 6,439 units, up 41.8% month-on-month and down 30% year-on-year.
According to dealers, the highest cash discount for buying BMW 525Li models is currently more than 40,000 yuan, with a minimum of 380,000 yuan for sale, and the highest cash discount for BMW X1 is more than 80,000 yuan, and the minimum is 196,000 yuan for sale, even cheaper than the Volkswagen Tiguan L (guide price) of similar sizes.
In terms of SUVs, BMW Brilliance's highest sales in March were still BMW X3s, with a total of 8,333 units sold, an increase of 29.45% month-on-month and a year-on-year decline of 33.1%, and total sales in the first quarter were 33,014 units, down 3% year-on-year. BMW X2 sales in March were 1,767 units, up 35% month-on-month and down 27.3% year-on-year. The BMW iX3, a pure electric SUV, was the fastest growing, with monthly sales of 2,736 units up 79.3% year-on-year and 113.8% month-on-month, despite lower sales.
In terms of cars, BMW 3 Series and 1 Series Sales in March were 8,172 units and 2,437 units, respectively, down 53.5% and 40.5% year-on-year, of which BMW 3 Series decreased by 13.2% month-on-month and 1 Series increased by 34.7% month-on-month. The first quarter sales of these two models were 41,969 units and 8412 units, respectively, down 11.8% and 30.6% year-on-year.
