Recently, we obtained Dongfeng Honda's 2022 annual new product planning from relevant channels, starting in April 2022 until the end of December, Dongfeng Honda will launch as many as 11 new cars, including Dongfeng Honda e:NS1, new XR-V, new CR-V and Civic TYPE R. In April, the mid-term revamp and e:NS1 will be available. Among them, the mid-term revamp will launch a fuel version and a sharp hybrid version. The new car has been exposed in the declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before, the appearance of the new car has been slightly adjusted, the tail mark has been replaced by the latest style, and the power system is still a 1.0L turbo engine and a 1.5L hybrid system.
e: NS1 is Dongfeng Honda's new pure electric SUV, has also appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology declaration directory, from the declaration information, e: NS1 will launch two power versions, respectively, 134kW (182 horsepower) and 150kW (204 horsepower); CLTC operating range also has two versions, 420km and 510km.
In August, two models, the Civic Hybrid and the new XR-V, will be available. As for Civic Hybrid, it is expected that the design of the exterior and interior will be consistent with the fuel version of the model, but the characteristics of the hybrid version of the model are added to the details, the power is still unclear, and it is likely that the Honda 1.5L i-MMD hybrid system will be used.
The new XR-V was released overseas in February last year, using a completely different design style from the current model, the new exterior design is very eye-catching, and the body also uses tougher lines to highlight its characteristics. The interior also uses Honda's latest family-style design, a large number of straight lines to make the interior of the car more capable, equipped with a full LCD instrument and a suspension central control screen. The overseas version will be available in fuel version and hybrid version, and it is expected that the same power system will continue to be used after domestic production.
The new CR-V currently only has overseas media spy photos, the official has not yet released any news, but from the information obtained before, the new CR-V will use Honda's latest design, and the interior will also have a relatively large upgrade, and there is a high probability that a 7-seat version will be launched. In terms of power, it is expected that fuel, hybrid and plug-in hybrid models will still be provided, and pure electric models will not appear in a high probability.
In October, Dongfeng Honda will launch a new Civic HATCHBACK, and in December will also launch a new Civic HATCHBACK sharp hybrid version, the current Civic HATCHBACK has been officially released overseas, after the domestic will continue to use the overseas version of the design, the shape of the slip back with the tail of the ducktail, so that the vehicle more sporty.
As Fit's sister car, LIFE was officially launched in December 2020, and there are currently 4 models on sale, with a price range of 97,800-11.28 million yuan. Regarding the upgrade information of LIFE, the official has not released the news at present. However, with reference to the rules of Honda's other mid-term redesigns, the changes in appearance and interior should not be too large, but there will be an indefinite degree of upgrade in the configuration.
In December, Dongfeng Honda will have two very heavy new models launched, the first is a new SUV model, it is reported that the new car will be launched after the benchmarking of the new Qashqai, positioning will be between XR-V and CR-V, as for the car name, body size, what kind of power is used, it is currently unknown. However, according to overseas information, this model is likely to be an HR-V model to be released in North America, the car is planned to be listed in the US market in the middle of this year, and whether this model will be introduced in China in the future, we still need to wait for official news.
In December, Dongfeng Honda's last model of 2022 was launched: the new Civic TYPE R! At present, some dealers have begun to accept reservations for the new Civic TYPE R, and the new car will enter the country in the form of CKD. As for the price, it is not clear, but it is certain that the landing price will be very emotional. After all, this is the first time that the Civic TYPE R has been officially introduced into China in an official capacity, and it will also be the last time that the pure fuel Civic TYPE R has been introduced into China, and the next generation of Civic TYPE R has been determined to cancel the pure fuel version of the model.
