For e:NS1, there is still a lot of warm-up and aura behind it. As early as last October, Honda held a grand electrification strategy conference in China and officially released "e:N", Honda's new pure electric brand. At the same time, five new car series of the "e:N" series were released in one go.

At first glance, it may seem like Honda is following Toyota's lead in launching all-electric products in a "wholesale" fashion. However, if we take a closer look, we will find that the two sister cars that can really land in the short term are Dongfeng Honda's e:NS1 and Guangqi Honda's e:NP1. If these two cars subvert the previous brand new products, similar to the Toyota bZ4X, this can also be regarded as "exciting". Judging from the official announcement, e:NS1 seems to have such characteristics. For example, it claims to have been born from the new Honda e:N Architecture F's new intelligent pure electric architecture, at least it should be a "pure" pure electric platform product has not run.

However, the reality is that e:NS1, whether it is the appearance of the contour, size and spatial layout, etc., has many similarities with the new generation of Binzhi released overseas by Honda last year. The interior looks different at first glance, and if you ignore the 15.2-inch central control screen with vertical arrangement, the structure of other parts is also "similar".

Does that mean that e: NS1 is just a new generation of Binzhi's "oil to electricity"? Or is e:NS1 a replacement for Siming M-NV?

You can't say the same. The Siming M-NV belongs to the XR-V oil to power, which is not controversial, because when developing the Binzhi/XR-V, Honda should not have considered too many electric layout needs. e: NS1 is different, it can be regarded as a synchronous development with the new generation of Binzhi. The most noteworthy thing about the three-electric level is the battery and battery life. Unfortunately, there weren't too many surprises. The low-end version only provides a 53.6-degree battery, corresponding to the CLTC's 420 km endurance, which is not as good as the Siming M-NV. The battery and endurance of the high-end version are not bad, reaching 68.8 degrees and 510 kilometers respectively, but it is also the "normal level". The key is that after reaching this endurance, the starting price will reach 207,000 yuan - it is really not cheap.

For example, compared with BYD dollar PLUS - the e:NS1 configuration of 207,000 yuan is indeed quite high, basically close to the level of the yuan PLUS top match, but the price of the yuan PLUS top match is only 165,800 yuan. Don't forget, meta PLUS is actually one size larger than e:NS1.

Of course, we believe that the final price will still be determined by the market.
