Wrote the poem "Li Chun" of the Five Ancestors of the Southern Sect and interpreted it
First, the white jade toad is its own business
#Media People Weekly # White Jade Toad was a famous Taoist priest in the Southern Song Dynasty, the five ancestors of the Jindan Sect Nanzong (the actual founder). His original surname was Ge, his name was Chang Geng, the character Bai Shuo, his ancestral home was Fujian Minqing, because his grandfather taught in Qiongzhou Province, so he grew up in Qiongshan County, Qiongzhou Province in 1194. After the death of his grandfather and father, the mother's clan changed to the Bai clan, because the surname was changed to Bai, and the number Qiongguan was changed. Because of the seven-year-old chanting poems offended officials, the examination was hopeless, the sword went sideways, at the age of 16, he left the island to travel around the world to seek Daoist cultivation, and in the past twenty years, he met Chen Nimaru, the fourth ancestor of the Taoist Southern Sect, and his true legend gradually rose.
Taoism is divided into two major schools: Zhengyi and Quanzhen. The Main Religious Activities of the Zhengyi Sect of Daoists are the Fu Zhen Zhai, praying for blessings and disasters, warding off evil spirits and exorcising ghosts, and transcending the degree. "Zhengyi" means "to cure evil, one to unify ten thousand", and "true one is not two"; and the Quanzhen Sect Daoist monks require monks to live and practice without marrying wives, not to rue meat, not to drink alcohol, and to take "three teachings to be enlightened", "to see the mind", and "to be unique in their truth", so it is called "Quanzhen". Wang Chongyang, the founder of the Northern Sect quanzhen, took the Tao Te Ching as the guideline, believing that cultivating true nature is the only right way for Taoists to cultivate cultivation, to remove lust and desire, to see the tao clearly, and to make the heart quiet, so that they can return to simplicity and return to truth, and become immortals. The Quanzhen Sect is divided into two sects, the North and the South, due to the different directions and cultivation methods of preaching. Among them, the sect located in Tiantai Mountain, Zhejiang Province, which is dominated by alchemy, is called the Southern Sect Ancestral Court of the Jindan Sect.
In fact, the Jindan sect in the north and the Quanzhen sect in the north are opposite, because they are located in the south of the river, so they are called "Nanzong". Jindan Nanzong is close to the dao, and the northern sect is close to Zen. Both are the main schools of True Taoism.
Bai Yu Toad founded the Taoist Jindan sect from Chen Nan, with Zhang Boduan of the Northern Song Dynasty as the ancestor of the Kai sect, and proposed the lineage of Zhang Boduan-Shi Tai-Xue Daoguang-Chen Nan-BaiYu Toad. Because the white jade toad used to be a single transmission, it was not until the white jade toad that it spread its branches and leaves, so the white jade toad was the de facto founder of the Jindan sect.
As the White Jade Toad of the Fifth Ancestor of the Southern Sect, in his later years, he mainly actived in the Wuyi mountain area, collecting disciples and practicing the Dao. During the Jiading period, he was ordered to enter the Taiyi Palace, preached to the emperor, and was named the True Man of the Purple Qingming Dao. However, he called himself Shenxiao Sanshi, a Hainan Daoist, an old man of Qiongshan, and a Wuyi Sanren.
Second, the white jade toad "Li Chun" poem
#Daily Poem # In addition to his outstanding contributions to Taoist theory and cultivation, the white jade toad is also very famous for his poetry and painting. Knowledgeable in the earth, Confucian and Taoist integration, good poetry and four-body calligraphy, its cursive writing is like a dragon and snake flying, especially wonderful painting of plum bamboo figures, occasionally self-written appearance, several strokes are immediate, the painter can not reach. In particular, his poems, the style is fresh and natural, concise and bright, refreshing and ethereal, condensed and timeless, many of them are arias of folk suffering, throughout his life, he has written a lot of works, and more than a thousand poems have survived. For example, this poem "Li Chun" was left in history:
The east wind blows away the snow from the willows, saving the world from spring overnight.
From now on, Yang Chun should have feet, a hundred flowers and rich grass spirit.
#Gangfeng Writing # In fact, the title of the poem "Li Chun" is "Li Chun" added him, and the original title of the white jade toad poem was "New Year's Day in the Crane Forest Puppet Work". "Crane Forest" is a Buddhist word that refers to the woods surrounding the Temple's Buddhist Temple. In what year and month, and in which monastery was this poem written? I can't take the exam now. However, from the poem about "Li Chun" collected and sorted out by his disciples after he became an immortal, he not only read the poetry of the new spring that is fresh and bright and has a beautiful meaning; moreover, a sentence in the poem, "Yang Chun should have feet", borrows the allusion of the Tang Dynasty name Song Jing, reflecting the deep meaning of the five ancestors to the people.
The poem begins with a chant: "The east wind blows away the plum snow, and saves the spring of the world in one night." It is said that the east wind (spring wind) blows away the falling snow on the branches of the plum tree, and the sky and earth spring again overnight. Then from Jing to the meaning: "From now on, Yang Chun should have feet, a hundred flowers and rich grass spirit" will borrow his expectations as an allusion. Shi Zai: Tang Dynasty Xiang Song Jing loves the people's shirts, the government and the wilderness return to the United States, when the people xian said that Jing has feet Yang Chun, where the words go, such as Yang Chun Xu Wu also.
The meaning of "Yang Chun should have feet" is to expect officials to learn from Song Jing to love the people and to have fewer officials and masters who "go through the motions, read the manuscript, and play the official style", and from then on, the world, a hundred flowers and riches, and the spirit of ten thousand grasses!
