Of course, as the "second-in-command" of FAW Hongqi in terms of sales, Hongqi H5 has also gained a cumulative sales volume of about 80,000 units in 2021, ranking first in the market segment in the domestic brand. Although there is still a certain sales gap compared to competitors such as Camry, Accord, Tianlai and Asian Dragon, it is quite successful to harvest so much sales as a domestic B-class sedan.
In the past year, although FAW Hongqi has gained a total sales volume of more than 300,000 units, the gap is not small compared with Geely Automobile, Great Wall Motors and Changan Automobile, but in the second-tier luxury brands, such sales are enough to make Infiniti, Acura, Changan Lincoln and Cadillac envious. If there is no accident, on the annual sales crown of the second-tier luxury brand, FAW Hongqi should be stable.
