In 1905, after Qiu Jin returned to China, he participated in the work of the GuangfuHui.

On July 6, 1907, Xu Xilin's uprising in Anqing failed miserably, unfortunately he was killed, and Qiu Jin was betrayed by traitors.
According to the situation at that time, Qiu Jin could have fled completely, but she refused to flee, saying: "The success of the revolution requires the pouring of blood", and in this way, she fell into the hands of the Qing soldiers.
After Qiu Jin was arrested, no matter how hard she was tortured, she did not give in, and the Qing army saw that she could not get any valuable information from her mouth, and finally brutally killed her, when she was only 32 years old.
However, after her sacrifice, under the obscene threat of the Qing government, family and friends did not dare to come forward to collect her body.
In the end, it was her close friend Wu Zhiying and others who, in the middle of the night, managed to steal her body back and quietly buried it.
A pair of sons and daughters are talents
Qiu Jin's death was a very big blow to Wang Tingjun, because he was too sad and depressed, and finally he couldn't afford to fall ill, and he died not long after.
The two children who lost both parents, Wang Yuande Wang Canzhi, were finally adopted by their mother's former friend Wu Zhiying.
It is gratifying that the two brothers and sisters are very competitive, did not disgrace the hero mother, Wang Yuande grew up, with the help of the family elders, coupled with their own hard work, step by step became the richest man in Xiangtan.
After Wang Yuande had money, he did not only care about his own enjoyment, but spent most of the money to support the revolutionary cause and public welfare undertakings.
After the founding of New China, Wang Yuande handed over all his assets to the state, and then mainly asked to work at the Literature and History Research Center, responsible for sorting out his mother's materials.
Unfortunately, in 1955, he died of a sudden cerebral hemorrhage.
Daughter Wang Canzhi once went to the United States to study, studied aviation, and returned to the motherland after completing her studies, becoming the first female pilot in China.
Later, in 1967, he also died of cerebral hemorrhage.
